History of DINGS Fares for Orlando

I just went on and found out that I could book for $79. The travel dates start in september. I was able to book what was $113 for $79!! Got the times I wanted and everything!! Good Luck to everyone!! It must be booked by 6/24 I believe!!

Not a Ding, but late last night I saw BOS - MCO for July had $99 fares. Considered switching over from PVD, but I love non-stop flights and BOS doesn't have any.

I think the prices are back up to the $119 and up range, but keep watching those fares, they don't issue a Ding for every price drop.

Twinklebug...thanks for the update! Just booked 2 flts. from BOS-MCO for $300 RT including early/priority seating. I've never had a SWA flight so expensive before, but I was getting nervous . Still wating for a Ding or a price drop...I'll keep my eye out for August 15 - 24 !

Howdy from League City!!!! We're going in Sept.
Waited just three days too long to buy that darn ticket--went up from something like 126 to 148 just like that. Only when you multiply that by 8 it's REALLY HURTS


What are the dings you've seen from Houston? I really want to install it but my stupid puter won't let me....

If you're willing to drive in the opposite direction, SWA is posting airfare from San Antonio to Orlando and back in August for $89/one way...some non-stops.

Still hoping for some Dings from the northeast : Boston, Manchester or Providence to Orlando....booked my flights but would like to change for a better price,day or time.

We are still waiting for a price drop or ding from Hartford, CT. We booked our return for a nonstop afternoon flight 8/15 and it hasn't dropped below $161 from the first day!! We have never paid that much, it would be less if we were willing to leave at 7am, but DH and DDs won't budge on that, so we wait...........only have a couple of weeks left before we leave. How close to their trip have people changed their flights with a ding or price drop?

Waiting for prices to drop from Chicago (Midway) to Orlando for 11/28-12/4. We can't change our dates either due to work.

I haven't noticed a lot of Ding's from Dallas historically, but am sure hoping for one. I booked our return flights already since I found them for 90 dollars one-way. I hope this is a good deal since I am new to flying. We live in Oklahoma (almost 5 hrs out from Dallas, but this is better than driving to Orlando which is nearly 18 hrs). Plus all of the flights from either Tulsa or OKC were 200 dollars one-way. Should I wait for a Ding from Dallas or buy now and when do Dings for week of November 27th usually come out?

Also, if I found a cheaper flight from one of the Oklahoma airports would I be able to change the flight I already have or would there be a penalty?

If you find a cheaper SW fare from Oklahoma you can rebook your Dallas flight with no penalty.

I was looking for MHT-MCO August 13 returning August 27th. I already booked August 13 on SW for $129. I was hoping it would come down so I could get a credit but, I haven't seen it any lower.

Yay! I had been waiting for Sept dings to start and i got my airport on the first day!!!! Saved $40 each way. Considering fares had been running as high as $154 each way and I got them for $99, Im VERY happy. Hope you all get your dings soon!
