History of DINGS Fares for Orlando

Alright ...I'm ready to book a Ding from Manchester/Prov./Boston for August 15 Free Dining !!! Come on Ding :woohoo:

I'm looking for August 21 to August 29. If you see it first, PM me. And I'll do the same! It should be any day. ;)
I'll willing to fly out of hartford too. It's only 1 hr 15 min from my house. Hartford has very light traffic too.

I already booked with the $25 code but I'm willing to change my ressies.

You know, the Dings have been few and far between this year, but at least Southwest gives you a chance.

Delta sent me an email 'sale' today -- good price, BDL to Orlando $119 one way. But you had to fly on Saturday May 21 and return on either Monday or Tuesday.

:sad2:

If I can recall, usually the dings for this time period are in June? Sometimes the prices are really good July 4th weekend. But who knows this year? I am looking for Aug. 18-Aug 24th. But I can be flexible.

Orlando to Panama City Beach for $52 One-Way!
- Fare is valid for travel Monday-Saturday, July 6 through July 31, 2010 only

Apparently, SW is only going to offer Dings for Orlando from cities within Florida. ;)

I'm kinda surprised at how crappy the Dings have been for July.:rotfl: Guess SW has already filled their flights. ;)

It's only a 3 1/2 hr drive from Orlando to Ft Lauderdale. Granted it's about 2 hrs longer than I can stand in the car, but with a break even a 4 hr drive is perfectly doable verses the time to check in and fly.

I think they need to re-route more of those planes up to New England. We need more Dings! ;)

I know right! It looks like this Ding is just a one way Ding to boot. So for a family of four it would be $581 to fly roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale. IDK, I can't imagine doing that. It would be like me flying from Logan to Burlington, VT to visit my SIL. :rotfl2:

Still awaiting a Ding from Manchester/Prov/Boston for August 12-15/22-23....Come on Ding! This airfare is doing damage to my buget !!!:scared1:

I have watched SWA and the Dings religiously. We are going from a Saturday to Saturday at the end of July. This has to be the worst year for Dings. :sad1:

I remember $49 dings from Providence to Orlando. I think that is what they were-I remember it was $105.60 RT with taxes.

I haven't been watching SW dings because I prefer Jet Blue. All air fares are high this year. It killed me to pay $300 each RT to fly BOS to MCO 7/18 to 7/27 but now those Jet Blue flights are about $413 each. Even SW (Providence is 1 1/2 hours away) would be $360 and the times aren't as good.

So if the past is any indication, August DING fares ought to be out in the next day or so? I'm not expecting any DING offers to work for me because our flight to MCO is on a Friday and though our flight home is on a Wednesday, 2 of my 3 fares are booked on RR credit, so not a lot of savings to be had regardless.

The Dings for July were almost non-existent, I can't believe I actually scored one. :rotfl: I only remember seeing one from MHT and one from PVD, that would work for me. Last month there were a couple of Dings from each of those airports for June. I wonder if August will be any better than July has been?

Loves Dumbo,

I'd rather fly Jetblue, but when I booked my flights, they were $200 more, so I went with SW. I'm a girl who loves a bargain! :thumbsup2

now if only I can get my 7th night in a Deluxe club level room instead of having to move to a standard club level room, I'd be happy!!!!

I'm trying to be happy with my standard club level room.:rotfl: I just spent the weekend in Plymouth at a Girl Scout camp in platform tents. I think I can handle a standard club level room but I think I'll go check to see if any deluxe rooms have magically appeared.:lmao:

My brother lives in Plymouth!

My problem is that I have the 18 yr old girl and 20 yr old boy that can't sleep in the same bed, so the pull-out sofa is a godsend. :rotfl: If they were still little, I would definitely just stay in a standard CL and save the cash. :thumbsup2

I was so excited when I found out that they had rooms like that at BWI, I had no idea until just recently and this will be my third time staying there. :rotfl2:
