History Channel's Walt Disney World "Modern Marvels"

I ordered the History Channel's, Modern Marvels, Walt Disney World Episode 2 weeks ago

When I ordered it I was told I wouldn't be charged until it is shipped out on the 10th of February. Well I decided to check the History Channel's website to make sure the Disney DVD has been shipped. GUESS WHAT....

NOW the date has been changed to February 16th. I have been waiting so long for this DVD and now they have me waiting EVEN longer. I am very very upset. Why didn't they have the common curtousy to email me (along with everyone else who ordered the DVD) and tell us that the DVD would be a week late...


I emailed the company telling them how upset I am.

Anyone else order the Walt Disney World, Modern Marvels episode

First of all, I totally understand your frustration - it's tough to really want something and have to wait and wait and wait some more. I have been there!

However, that said, I have also worked waaaayyy too many years of my life in retail sales of one kind or another (including computer/phone orders) and can say from experience that unless there has been a significant delay from the manufacturer (and I mean like a month or more), they are not likely to contact everyone who ordered this DVD to say it's going to be late.

P.S. That was a great show, by the way!! Loved all the insider details - never realized that Main Street is actually the "2nd" level!

I just happened to stumble on this DVD browsing Netflix today, and I added it to my queue. However, it gave a release date of March 28, IIRC. Strange.

NO... if it doesn't come to March there are going to be some SERIOUS problems..........

Yeah..I netflixed it too. It looks like a march release date. I can't believe I missed it on the History Channel.
