Historical resale prices for VGC or any resort?

Hello Everyone,

Thank you again for all the positive feedback and warm community.
Is there a thread where I can see what people are actually paying for on the resale market?

I am looking at a contract and would like to know what these points are actually selling for.
Of course VGC is my primary concern.... but you know... addonitis...

VGC has gone substantially up during covid, rather than down. I have a small contract in ROFR at the moment. Prices vary between $200-$230 per point depending on the size of the contract.

Yep, just go thru the ROFR threads for each quarter for the last 1-3 years, and you have will have a good idea of what some of the best prices are. Keep in mind most people will post their steals and deals of the century, but most others won't post something that is average. So, really, actual selling prices for most contracts are higher than what's posted on the ROFR threads, so I would just use it as a guide to what some of he best deals actually are.

I saw a 100 point VGC today for $242 a point. It had 100 banked points from 2019. A note at the bottom that only a full price offer will be accepted. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Holy smokes. That’s almost $100 a point more than I paid for 100 points 3 years ago.

It’s even in my UY! But much as I want GCV, $242 is more than I’m willing to pay, especially as I don’t *need* the points, I just *want* them, and I have CCV contracts in ROFR now, so I’ve already technically spent my money set aside for DVC. And, honestly, I have no idea when I might be back at DL anyway.
