Historical Passenger Data?

Is there a way to look up how many passengers where on a particular cruise in the past?

I'm particularly interested in PC versus TA cruises.

Outside of the cruise line and possibly government agencies like customs, I can't think of anywhere you could obtain that information and I doubt they would provide it.

Hm, on our first cruise someone linked to a site that showed how full the ship was. Maybe that was just an estimator though and not something that keeps the data around.

There are a few sites that track cabin availability but given that they aren't necessarily accurate and can't account for how many passengers might be in any particular cabin, they would not be very helpful.

My guess is that the PC and TA cruises would have a similar number of passengers. I believe both cruises tend to sell out, but more cabins have 2 people in them than the 3-5 that could fit in them, so while it's 'sold out', it won't feel that way since there are a lot fewer people than a typical Bahamian/Caribbean cruise. I seem to remember reading here that there are 200-400 kids on board these longer cruises vs. 1000 that can be on a Caribbean one.

Thank you. That makes sense and I guess I don't need to see actual numbers. I should have asked what you answered instead. :-) I think Castaway Cay will be lovely with 600-800 fewer people!

You're asking about the Panama Canal and not Port Canaveral, right? The Magic does the TA and the Wonder does the PC and both ships are smaller than the Dream and Fantasy, so yeah, that's a smaller number on Castaway Cay right there.

If it helps, there were only about 200 kids on our WBTA last year. We could tell, lots quieter, yet strange.

I've done both the WBTA and EBPC and I think there were slightly more people on the EBPC. Probably because flights were cheaper (vs. one-way to Europe). But neither were very crowded, relatively speaking, as a previous poster stated, because while all the rooms are usually sold out, not all the beds are. It was great to do with my kids because they had so much less competition for the Mickey pool and the kids clubs. One of my favorite memories of the EBPC is sitting on deck watching my son playing in the Mickey pool while we went through the PC - there were only like 2 other kids in the pool, which is pretty rare for a normal Disney Cruise, but not that unusual for a TA or PC.

I'm trying to decide if my kids would love or hate it. They are homeschooled and used the individual attention so that's a plus. However, my oldest lives in the Vibe when we are on the ship. I wonder how many teens typically do the Panama Canal.

My son was in Vibe on WBPC. There were about 40 Vibe kids total on the cruise.

That's actually more than were on our cruise two weeks ago. Of course probably some just didn't do the activities, but my daughter estimated 30.
