Historical data on which resort?

Hi! We are looking at WL for January (although I am getting nervous about the construction). Where do I find the historical data on the resorts that may be part of a package discount? Thanks

not sure what you are asking - if you are asking how old the resorts are then CR and Polyn are the oldest - but since WDW updates it hotel every few years they are not really old.

It's easier to tell you what resorts are typically excluded. It's pretty much the same each time, as long as you are not talking about Free Dining, which you wouldn't be in January.

3 Bedroom Villas
Cabins (sometimes)

WL is pretty much always included, so no fears. With the construction, it is probably going to be pretty easy to get too since folks are jumping ship over there

I always refer to the above link as it is very helpful.

Except for December, the WL otherwise typically has at least somewhat above average availability for discounts.

Construction makes things somewhat more difficult to predict. On the one hand, construction tends to scare people away. On the other hand, there are fewer rooms available that Disney needs to fill. So, during construction, the discounts don't tend to be as generous as you may hope.

In addition, I note that Disney seems to be cutting back on room discounts generally. The Q4 room discounts that came out yesterday were the most limited that I've seen in years (both in terms of amount and resort availability). I interpret this to mean that, due to the improving economy, Disney isn't needing to offer as many discounts to fill rooms.

Thanks everyone! Those links were exactly what I meant. I knew people were posting them elsewhere, but my searches (and google) weren't giving me what I was looking for.

I am not planning on the discount, I am budgeting at the rack rate, but *crossing fingers* that something comes along!

Thanks! I ended up booking at Wilderness anyway. If a vacation is going to go sideways, it is usually the unexpected things that cause it and not what you know going in.
