Historic Discounts - Room Only Dec & Jan

DH and I usually make a trip to WDW in September. DH is taking a new job at a new company and will start there next month so, we had to cancel our planned trip for this September as it will be too early for him to take time off.

We usually go for 10 nights, but I am thinking about trying for a six or seven night trip and sneaking it in either the first full week after Thanksgiving or the first or second week of January.

I searched online for historic discounts in December and January and they look in the range of 5-35% off for room-only offers which is what we are interested in. Does anyone have more specific info on which hotels (specifically the deluxes) have what percentage off? Or could link me to a site that does have that info? I am wanting to see what deluxes historically have been available at 20% or more during those two time frames to get an idea of which hotels we might want to stay at.

Any help or info is greatly appreciated!!!

If I understand your question, you are looking specifically for the historical discounts given at each hotel. I doubt that any one keeps that kind of information, because it changes from year to year and can vary even at the same resort, depending on the room type. It all depends on what Disney has in their room inventory that they are trying to fill.

Speaking from experience, we stayed at BWI the first week of December 2014 on a room only discount. I was only able to get a 20% discount on a standard view room. I know that I researched some of the more expensive club level rooms at BWI and they were being discounted at 35%, and while it was tempting, those rooms are above our spending threshold. I had booked the room when the General Public discounts were released. We are also eligible for Florida Resident and AP holders discount and still couldn't get any better discount for a standard room at BWI than 20% even when those discounts were released.

Thanks - that was what I was kind of wondering. A 5% discount wouldn't be very exciting, but I was hoping deluxes in early December are usually more in the 20-30% off range.
