So we are going back in August 2016 I know 2 whole years! I don't know how I'll cope with the waiting!! But we want to save lots of money and do 1 week a the Polynesian resort and another week at either the grand Floridian or animal kingdom resort so it'll be more than worth the wait, how ever our little guy will only be 2 years old so will need a cot, how much are they to hire through the Walt disney world resort, I am aware prices will probably raise for even the small things like the cots but I'd like to have a rough idea of the cost? Thanks :-)

We went last Oct when DS was 16 months, they provided a pack and play style travel cot. This was much smaller than the travel cot we use at home and he only just fit into it.

We are going again in Sept and DS is now just over 2 and there's no way he'd fit into one of those cots anymore. He also sleeps in a bed at home now so he's going to have to use a bed on holiday too!

It's a just a warning really that while they provide them they are smaller than standard travel cots. Hope that helps :-)

The disney hotels do provide them free of charge, just need to ask for one. The resorts provide a travel cot sized one, which my DS didn't seem to find overly comfy. He was a fidgety sleeper so kept hitting the sides.

You can rent one yourself from a few companies like this one - https://www.kingdomstrollers.com

by 2 both of mine we sleeping in a bed at home so we never bothered with a cot at that age. Instead disney provide bed rails so we used those. :)

There was a fold up cot in the closet in our room at AKL two months ago. It looked too small for a two year old though TBH.

We have always used the disney pack and play cots and found the size of them fine. My 3 year old (averaged size, if anything on the taller size) slept 12hrs every night for 2 weeks last January. We have never had to pay and although I bring a sheet from him they provide blankets, pillows etc when requested

They provide pack n plays free as has been said.

We had now trouble with our taller than average (91st centile) DD - she slept in them quite happily from 9 months to 2 years 4 months. :)

Wow I didn't know they provided bed rails that would be perfect he will most certainly be in his own bed at home by the time we go so a bed rail would be super :-)
