What is a two bedroom lockout unit like? Would it be better if i asked for a regular 2 bedroom unit? We will be having 6 people with us.

I'm not sure about the Hilton lockouts, but if they are similar to the Marriott lockouts, you'll be fine. At Marriott, a 2br lockout means the unit is configured along the following lines: The "main door" opens into a lovely living room/dining room/kitchen area, with a spacious master bedroom (with full bath and jacuzzi) on one side of the living area. On the other side of the living area is a door leading to a studio-type unit; bedroom/sitting area with beds, bureaus, sofa bed and tv, plus an area with a small kitchenette (microwave, sink, small fridge and coffeepot) and a full bath. This unit also has its own "outside" door. It's called a "lockout" unit because Marriott can rent it as one 2br unit, or lock the door between the studio-type unit and the rest of the villa, and rent them separately as a one br villa and a studio. We liked having the 2br lockout, as it gave us a 2nd full bathroom and it was nice to have a kitchenette as the living room of the main unit was being used as a sleeping area also- we could stay up late while the living room sleepers turned in at their own bedtime!
