Can't help too much since we have only spent 1 nt "to check it out" but I can say that it's different than the feel you get at Vero or any where on/off Disney property. From the time you get on on main road into HH you immediately notice how ALL the signs are exactly the same. You do not see the usual logo signs that are associated with say McDonald's or Burger King. All the signs are the same color, size, and are usually lined up on a larger one and may be with 6 other recognizable brand name companies. Also the grounds are impecable everywhere. Another thing you will notice is all the very expensive vehicles driving around. You definately get the sense of an upscale community. We saw the sand but I don't remember the color. Seems as though it was whiter than Vero, but I'm not sure. It is kind of strange to see the resort and it's marsh surroundings yet you cross the street and down a ways to the beach house and you see nothing but ocean, it's like being in 2 different worlds. I really enjoyed my experience there and look forward to returning.
BTW- We have been to Treasure Island in Fla. too and I would say HH looks more like a country club resort where as TI looks more like a fishing village.
