hilton head trip in feb.

looking to use some dvc pts. in feb and the rest in disney at akl in sept. was looking to go to hh in feb and we had a two yr old and four yr old. havent been before so could use some help if it is a good idea. if someone has another idea very open to see what yall suggest. thanks

Hilton Head in February will likely be rather windy and cold. You definitely won't be able to swim then.

Hilton Head in February could be wonderful weather wise or it could be horrible. It is winter after all. Last year I only wore my heavy coat a few times the entire winter. There won't be many crowds in February on the Island but golf trips to HH are popular all year long. Even if the weather is nice the beach will be windy but building a sand castle would be a perfect sunny day activity. HH has great bike paths and wonderful restaurants and even has a children's museum. If you want rest and relaxation then HH is a good choice.
(P.S - I live on Hilton Head. Actually, until I quit my job recently, my office overlooked the DVC resort.)
