Hilton Head Special Requests

First trip to HH first week of Aug. Should we make any special requests for room location. Booked in 2 br, do they all have 2 beds in 2nd br or do some have 1 bed and sofa sleeper? What are suggestions for do not miss activities or restaurants in HH?

All dedicated 2BR villas have 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR.

There are lots of great fanily activities- you'll get a list at check-in and there are about 6 nice restaurants within walking distance of the resort and about 300 other options on the island. A list will be provided at check in. We enjoy Scott's Fishmarket and Giuseppi's (both nearby) and Hudson's, Old Oyster Factory, CQ's, Cafe Europa and many more.

We really enjoyed building 31 the last one at the mouth of Shelter Cove. We had a 2 bedroom there in July 2002 and we watched dolphins at the entrance to the marina every morning from our porch. We also saw the kayakers and great views at night. We also enjoyed staying in the main lodge in a 2 bedroom for New Year's 2001. Its convenient, but there is no really bad building, but I have avoided the ones that face the main pool at the resort, just for the noise factor. You will love the resort and the beach and beach house is wonderful. I also second the Old Oyster Factory, Scott's Fish Market and we enjoyed Kingfisher for early bird specials. Have fun.
