Can I call a year out and book this hotel or do I have to wait? Thank you.

It's a DVC resort. So members who own there get first crack at 11 months out, non-owners there at seven months out. I wouldn't look for it until six months out or so.

You could "rent points" and book it at 11 months out through a member using their home resort points.
