What's the weather like at Hilton Head in April? Is it warm enough to swim? I have a September UY. Can I borrow points from '06 to go to HH in April '05? (April '05 would be within my '04 UY.) Thanks. :confused3

Weather in April is warm enough for swimming in the heated pools, but the ocean will be chilly. It might be chilly just being on the beach, but that varies depending on the weather. Generally April is not beach weather at HH.

You can borrow points 1 year ahead. If this trip is in your '04 year, then you can borrow from '05 but not '06.

We were there in April and we did go to the beach but did not swim in the ocean. We had bathing suits on, walked the beach, sunbathing, DS played in the water and found a crab. We did swim in the pool at the beach house. It was very pleasant. Be aware that it is a very popular time to go there and there is a gold tournament there annually in April. Just a head's up.

We went this past April at the last week and it was not crowded. It was cool. My little boy was 9 mo. at the time and he went swimming in the pool. It was warm. We just had to wrap up very fast after we got out. At the ocean if you go at low tide, there will be tide pools that form on the very wide beach. the sun warms these up and kids will play in there.
