My family and I spent three nights at the Hilton Head Island Resort arriving 11/3 and leaving 11/6. We had a one bedroom villa (room 1224) right off the main building. We LOVED the room. It was huge. It was our first experience with DVC as we are new owners.

I loved the resort. It was small, easy to get around, and everyone there was so friendly. The room was amazing. Because the weather was around 60 for our stay, we did not swim in the ocean. However, my husband and sons swam in the outdoor heated pools (both at the resort and at the beach house). We had breakfast once at Tide Me Over (I had an egg sandwich, kids had Mickey waffle, and husband had French toast). We had lunch at Tide Me Over and Signals (I think that was the lunch place at the beach house). Lunches were good, and not too expensive. They both close early, so there are no dinner options at the resort. However, there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance, and A LOT within a short drive away.

We went fishing every day (and they each caught a fish), we walked around the grounds, we barbecued our lunch one day, and we sat on our private balcony. It was truly a relaxing and wonderful trip.

One thing I did not realize - the only building that has an elevator is the main one. Ours connected to it, so we were able to use the elevator. I am glad we had it because we packed quite a bit of stuff! Lol.

I would go back there again (and again, and again...)
