Hilton Head Island DVC INFO

I have a few questions regarding our stay at Hilton Head in a few weeks.

1. Are there towels available at the Beach house?

2. Are there umbrellas and chairs available for rent and If anyone remembers, How much do they cost?

3. Any recommendations for golfing at Hilton Head. I know there are quite a few courses there but I was wondering how much they cost and if there were any special deals at the resort?

TO answer your questions:

1) Yes there are towels available at the beach house

2) and yes you can rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach...I seem to remember my sister paid $27 for a 1 day rental and I think it's around $80 for the week,,,not 100% on those but I know I'm pretty close.

I recently purchased a 6 ft. beach umbrella for $14.00 at CVS for our trip next week to HH. Didn't feel like renting was a very good bargain. Also bought boogie boards for 8 bucks at Big Lots...

I agree TCincy....

We just returned from a week stay in HH and absolutely loved it. Having read these boards we were sure to bring our chairs with us (we did drive from PA). I can't see spending that kind of money to 'rent' a chair/umbrella when I could of bought one for WAY less. Even if we didn't drive there are so many stores nearby, where I'm sure you can purchase chairs, renting them for those prices doesn't seem to make sense.
