We're headed down to Hilton Head 4/13 hrough 4/20. We're bringing 2 other couples and 3 of them play golf. Any suggestions how I would set them up with tee times and can I get them any discounts if I the DVC member doesn't play eith them? Thanks for any help.
When you check in you will be given a list of area golf courses and the dicounted rates for staying at the resort. The front desk will make your tee-times for you. Since April is usually busy for golf you may want to call the HH resort direct a couple of weeks before your stay and have them fax you the list. You can then set up your tee times before you arrive to make sure you get the times you want.
hi went to hilton head last week of march into april.
played palmetto hall golf courses. they have two, the Hall
and the Cupp. both player friendly. great breakfast at the
Cracker Barrell. have a great time.
Dan,
Generally, there's going to be more courses than players in the Hilton Head area, but you'll be there the week of the PGA tournament at Harbour Town, so I don't know. Maybe all the duffers will be watching the tournament. We usually wait to get tee times once we're down at Hilton Head for the best rates. We pick up the local paper and browse the golf course ads in the Sports section. Usually there are more than enough to choose from and the rates have been much better than the DVC negotiated rates.
Have a great time, we'll be down there the second week of May.

Island West is a nice course and it's fairly easy to get tee times. It's in Bluffton on 278 - Fuzzy Zoeller designed the course. Great layout and won't beat your friends up if they're not low handicappers.
