Hilton Head end of March - begining April

We are thinking about going to Hilton Head over my daughter's spring break and are wondering how the weather is at the end of March. Nice enough to swim??

March is very unpredictable. We went toward the end of March last year. We had beautiful weather and were able to swim everyday. But the people who went to HH the week after us had chilly weather and wore jackets.

Thanks! I hope we get lucky and have nice weather. Is there much to do if the weather is bad? My husband and I have only been one other time and we were evacuated due to the threat of a hurricane. Could we have bad luck twice with the weather?
