Hilton Head at Christmas

Has anyone been to Hilton Head at Christmas? If so how was it? Is it even reasonable to book at the seven month mark?

IMO it's difficult to book HHI 7 months out for holidays. I tried a couple years out and nothing was available. I've since stopped trying. However, my sister got a couple of days at HHI during off season--its been a couple of years though. A CM once told me that people who own at HHI and Vero Beach do so because they don't want to go to WDW. As a result, it is much harder to find availability. Of course, anything's possible. We were there right after Christmas this year. Dec 27 to Jan 2. Booked at 6 months with a few other groups of people without any problems. 2BRs would be easiest to get because that is the room that DHHIR has the most of. They still had their Christmas decorations up. It was great!
