Hilton Grand Vacation Club dilemma

We have reservations for HGVC at a timeshare presentation rate.However, we have to cancel our trip and the small print on my confirmation says "no refunds and non transferrable"
You can reschedule the dates but Im not sure when we would be able to or if it would be when this promotion is still valid.
Has anyone had a similar problem and what did you do?

Sorry I can't help you out on your question. But I just got back from a cousin 50th birthday's
bash the first week of March. And it is a beautiful place, the pools , grounds everything. Also
it is close to I-4 and shopping. Just a wonderful place to stay. Any questions I can answer for you other
than the original questions let me know.

thanks for replying Mary Ann! Im happy to hear it's so nice. Hopefully, we will be able to either keep our dates or come up with new ones.
How long did it take to get to the Disney parks from there?

We are HGVC owners and stayed there last summer. There is an exit to I-4 just out of the parking lot. The next 3 exits are to the parks. I timed it 4 or 5 times and it was never more than 30 min, usually 15-20min from the time we shut the condo door till we hit the turnstiles. It compared to about the same wait and ride for busses to take you to the parks from the resort hotels. We stayed at CSR last December and it took 20 min (and usually longer) to get to the parks, at one point taking 50min to get to DD by bus!

The quickest place into the park we found thus far was staying at the Hampton inn West off 192. The "back way" from here took us 5 min to get to the parkinglot of MK!

You will enjoy HGVC! We will be in the Penthouse in June!

I am renting a week at HGVC from a person that exchanged thru RCI. Do I need to get a guest certificate. I would rather not spend the money if they don't ask.

Has anyone ever had this experience?

'I'd hate to arrive without the guest certificate to be turned away. For 49.00 I would invest in the peace of mind , knowing that I could not be refused my reservation
