Hello
Has anyone ever stayed at this place?
Did they like it?
Looking for a place that has a washer and dryer , kitchen and close to Seaworld
We stayed here last year and loved it so much that we are planning to stay there again this year (if we can manage a vacation

).
The suites have what you list above (dish soap and laundry detergent included...and Fiestaware dishes). Oh, and screened in balconies with ceiling fans...so nice for sitting outside enjoying breakfast or a drink. There's an on site shop that has essentials (including reasonably priced bottles of wine) but there's also a 7-11 right across the street. The resort is big so plan on walking. We stayed in Padgett which was practically at the edge of the property and a good 5-10 minute walk to the main bldg. where the restaurant & main pool is located. Padgett was close to the smaller pool and hot tub which was nice because we practically had that to ourselves. And there are golf cart shuttles that will take you to & from your room but we enjoy the walk.
The HGVC SeaWorld runs shuttles to SW and the other parks but after the first morning we walked to & from SW (maybe 1-20 minutes).
Also, since this is a resort/time share property there are different activities going on every day and a kid's club with activities for the kids (some are free, some are a nominal cost). I wished that I had scheduled at least one day of downtime to hang around the resort.
One warning: The night we came back from Acquatica (ie we were still damp) we went to dinner at the on site restaurant and there was a massive rain storm. It rained so hard that there were inches of standing water everywhere and the golf cart shuttles weren't running. August in Florida and we were shivering. We were huddled around cups of hot chocolate from the onsite Starbucks in an attempt to keep warm

. Anyway, the only way back to a hot shower and our room was to walk. Also from chatting with the folks at the Starbucks we discovered that since the shuttles weren't running there was no way to deliver room service. Not an issue for us but obviously an issue for folks that wanted to stay put due to the massive rain. So it just became part of our "adventure" and something we laugh about. Make sure you keep some snacks on hand in the kitchen, just in case.
I found the onsite restaurant mediocre but there's a Bonefish Grill across the street next to the 7-11. Since my husband & I both drive many miles to work each day we enjoy being able to walk a lot on vacation. It sounds odd, but it helps to offset the vacation food indulgences

. Oh and the onsite shop where the Starbucks is does some tasty and reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches. Bear in mind that I'm from NY so my definition of "reasonably priced" may differ from everybody else's

.
Since the HGVC is an official SW partner hotel there are a list of perks that come with staying there. Everything must be reserved at the SW desk in the lobby of the main building (shuttles to parks, early entry day passes for SW...the list of perks is on the HGVC website).
I hope this helps. I'll be happy to answer any other questions.
