Will I regret staying on this section of I drive? I only hear horror stories about traffic. We have been offered a time share from a friend and the only 2 bedroom we can get for our week is this, the hilton at seaworld or the ctpress grand villas. We plan to spen d a bit of time at the pool and the cypress pool didn't look all that wonderful.

Driving isn't a huge issue although I would have liked to have been closer.

we stayed here in april 2006 and it was wonderful. the pool is magical. esp at night. the drive was good too. we didn't have any problems. we stayed at hilton on international drive. it was delightful and will stay there again in a heartbeat!

just one word of caution, i put a load of laundry in and the washer broke and it was boiling hot water and still going when we got home (5 hours later) ruined all our clothes. the hotel sent me a walmart gift card for $50 to make up for it...i was hurt but i was on holiday so i didn't care so much at the time.

I don't think that you'll regret this location. HGVC International Drive is south of all the I-Drive traffic craziness and it's relatively easy to get to Disney from there (I'd suggest going south of I-Drive from the resort and continuing to the intersection with SR 535 right after the Caribe Royale, then cross SR 535 to SR 536 which becomes Epcot Center Drive as you go under the Disney arch. The signage to places is easy to follow from there.)

This is a BEAUTIFUL property, you will most surely enjoy it!

We are HGVC owners (at the SeaWorld location) but I prefer the theming here. We've stayed here twice and I always recommend this place!

There is a strip mall across the street with a Publix, Walgreens, Subway, McDonalds, a few other stores, the Dixie Stampede and Prime Outlets are very close too. Lynx public bus stop right outside the gates.

It looked breath taking. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful HUGE place (2 bedrooms versus a value resort) for almost nothing.

I appreciate the responses!

it is far away from the traffic problems.

the only problem might be a funeral or wedding at the church near by - or a big sale at the outlet mall behind it.

so don't even worry!!!

It is also much closer to WDW than that other part.:rolleyes1
