Hilton Garden Inn-how long a walk?

We are currently at Rennaisance across the street. Mostly due to mom in ECV. We thought that would be easiest, but looking at Hilton Garden Inn. It would be about $60 a night less. I would love to save the $ if it is not much further to go in walking/riding on the ecv.

Anyone know how long it took them from hotel to gate?

Hilton Garden Inn is literally across the street from the Ren, the only difference is it faces away from SeaWorld (towards I-4). I don't know how fast an ECV can go but I would think you are looking at a max of 5 minutes more.

That being said - HGI is much smaller than the Ren, so depending on where your room was located it might not even take the max time.

Personal opinion - close enough to be worth $60

I think this is definately worth the cost difference. My DH says he would rather pay the extra monet because the Hilton garden inn says it is double beds. We are 4 adults, self, DH, DS 18 and DS20. We did stay in a hotel with double beds last yr and it was a challenge to sleep, but I don't know if it is worth the extra $.

We're staying at Hampton Inn & Suites which is supposedly only five minutes walk from Seaworld and is a bit cheaper than Hilton Garden Inn.

When I had lookrd up the hampton, it said a 15 min walk. Mom said too far for her. I'll have to recheck that.

Yeah you're right, it's about five minutes to the parking lot from the hotel and obviously a bit longer to the gate. I do know the hotel has a free shuttle though.

We have decided to stay at the Hilton Garen inn- because they dO have queen size beds. I called them to ck-their site say doubles but they said they had renovated and replaced the dbl with queen. Very happy to save all that money for just a couple minute extra walk.

We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations the last time we went to SeaWorld (2010). One day we walked back to the hotel with the kids (stroller and 4 year old) it took us about 15 minutes, which with how the Inn is offset from the road about a similar distance.
