Hilton Clearwater Beach to the Drury

So before we head to the Drury at Disney Springs on June 5th, I have a conference at the Hilton Clearwater Beach a few days before.
I was hoping someone might have a good way to get to the Drury without having to use the dreaded I4 since the conference doesn't end till about 3:30 in the afternoon.

I expect the dreaded I4 trip is still your best bet. You can certainly go around it, but you'll take much longer and drive farther. I expect that time of day it might take you 2 1/2 hours, so just put on some music and know it's going to be a slow go at some points! The good news is you're spending time along beautiful Clearwater Beach and going to fun WDW!

I was afraid of that. We don't mind if we have to driver further or out of the way. I am looking forward to Clearwater Beach.
The closer I have gotten to there was when I was a kid and we would go to Tarpon Springs. Thank you for answering.

When you're ready to go, put the destination address in your favorite GPS app and let it decide. Pretty sure most of them take live traffic into account.

Did a conference at the Sheraton Sand Key (love that resort) for years and tacked on trips to Disney. Only option that was predictable ,was to rent a car and tackle I-4. None of the other routes are really worth the extra amount of time. Hwy 60 through Brandon would add at least another hour maybe more if its anywhere close to rush hour. Grab some Disney music and smile is my best suggestion.

I made this drive last Saturday morning. I thought it was going to be horrible, considering the Memorial Day weekend. But it turned out pretty smoothly. Surprisingly all the traffic was headed to Tampa, not Orlando. So you might be pleasantly surprised.
