I try not to come in this thread to criticize anyone, especially since I have nothing against Hillary. However, I have one thing to say in reply to your post.

...and it is your choice. All of us (on this thread) have to hold our noses and vote for someone. The question is who is the greater evil. Right now, for me it is Obama, which is not to say that I don't find McCain evil too.

Since Hillary did win the popular votes in the primaries, yes, you’d think she’d be in the VP slot since the DNC gave the nomination to Obama. However, if you paid any attention to how Obama treated Hillary in the primaries, it's really not surprising at all. At least to me it's not. He’s never shown her an ounce of respect. Why start now?

I think that Texas proved that caucuses weren't fair. By logic - Hillary should have won the caucus since she won our Primary. But she didn't.

PUMA got more than enough signatures to create a platform of issues to bring to the DNC’s platform committee yesterday. Basically, PUMA was ignored. One of the issues brought forth was caucuses and it's now to be shoved off to the convention:

Nasty gram who you'd like. I guess I have been following the entire birth certificate issue a little more closely. I read the article as a follow up to the idea that Obama was actually NOT born in the USA (the speculation is that it may be Canada) and that even though he has a naturally born parent which SHOULD convey citizenship - because she was so young at the time - he would not fall under that clause either.

Now - we can debate the whole where was he born thing, for sure. I tend to think that there will be nothing to it, but I do have to wonder why he doesn't just produce his ACTUAL birth certificate and get it over with? The one he has on his website has no registrar signature. I have never seen one without. I understand blacking out certain information - but there is no indication that a registrar's sig was ever there. And if there was at some point - I do not understand the need of photshopping that out when all they did was black out the cert#?

It just seems off/not quite right.

Exactly - some of the tabloid reporting isn't the trash it used to be lately. (Maybe they had it right in Men in Black!! )

Personally - I refuse to let the village story die. If Obama was not able to fulfill his promise of "Hope and Change" on such a small scale - how the heck is he gonna do it in such a complex nation as ours?

I can't believe that you didn't know about this until now. Of course, they tried to scrub it from the media pretty darn fast after they realized the impact of what he said. Could you imagine him forming it? I just keep thinking back to the movie 'Swing Kids'.

What you have is the front of the certificate. Then I emailed my former college roommate, who was born and raised in Hawaii, and asked him what he thought. He pulled out his birth certificate and it was identical to BO's, and he corroborated that the seal and signature are on the back. After that, I spoke to one of my colleagues about why they don't just release the back. His reply, "the people that don't believe it now, will refuse to believe it no matter what we release." So long story short, if the campaign releases the back, the same people that refuse to believe it now will simply say that this could have come from any other Hawaii Birth Certificate.

I'm no longer on the payroll. I am now working as a consultant for the campaign, specifically for Latino Outreach and Obama Pride, and to a lesser extent Expats for Obama. So in short, unless we're talking about a Latin American Pride March for Obama in Kenya, I wouldn't have a clue when he plans to return to Africa.
