Today’s News:
Articles are being written stating that Hillary has requested her name not to be added to the convention’s ballot and has asked her SD’s to vote for Obama.
Not true.
There’s a clip on youtube that’s been posted in the last couple of days from a Q&A with Hillary. It was an informal gathering, I’m not certain what type of gathering, everyone was standing around and the video camera that shot the video (placed on youtube) was an individual’s camera and not a media camera. One of Hillary’s delegates was there and many questions were asked to her for if she’ll be on the convention ballot. She stated that she would be, that she feels the only way to bring ‘unity’ to the Democratic party is to allow her name to be on the ballot so the SD’s can cast their vote as it should be casted. I agree. Hillary rightfully should be on that ballot and her SD’s should rightfully be allowed to vote for her. It’s been like this on all other conventions and to have her name removed would not be normal for a convention and unfair to her.
So, does this remind anyone of the last day of the primaries when the polls were still open and the AP released a false news story that Hillary had conceded, when she hadn’t, and then refused to retract the articles when it was proven that she was still in the race? I think some people really are getting scared that she’ll be the one to walk away from the convention with the nomination and these false news stories are ones of desperation.
Oh, and one other interesting thing she mentioned: A lot of the previous primaries, the losing candidate didn’t endorse the winning candidate until the convention so this cry from the DNC and the OS for her to concede and endorse Obama immediately was ridiculous and unfair to her. (She didn’t state the unfair part, I did)
