And if you go back and read my post you will see as I HEARD more and more about Obama (and his wife) and WATCHED more and more of his speeches I started to dislike him more and more.
Telling me I don't like Obama because I am racist will NOT make me like him anymore. I decided I didn't like him a few months ago, but the OS are making me despise him! Nice way to get people to vote for your candidate.
I am tired of defending myself that I am not a racist. You guys believe what you want....I KNOW WHAT I AM and THAT is all the matters to me
I understand you may see intelligence when he speaks, but
I see nothing but a man with a very big ego and talks a lot of fluff. Kind of like our current President
I will say this about Obama, the man is smart. He knows just what to say to get people to like and vote for him, sounds like any other politician. Just some people don't fall of it.
By the way if we Hillary supporters don't matter why do you Obama supporters keep coming over here? Do you just like to stir up trouble? I don't even lurk on your Obama thread because Obama does NOT interest me. If I see a thread, any thread on this board that doesn't interest me, I don't open it. If you don't like Hillary why would you even want to read and post on a thread about her with people that SUPPORT and ADMIRE her?????
How is accusing Hillary supporters of being racist any different than accusing Obama supporters of being misogynist? That seems to be perfectly acceptable on this thread, right? Personally, I think both generalizations are nonsense. Oh, there are specific groups that won't support Obama because he's black and groups that won't support Hillary because she's female. But the vast majority of people supporting one candidate over the other are doing so for reasons that have nothing to do with race or gender. It's a bit disingenuous to condemn one generalization while participating in a thread that regularly engages in the other, don't you think?
Secondly, in one paragraph you say Obama isn't intelligent, and in the next you say he is.

'Course, in the second paragraph you obliquely accuse his supporters of being easily duped, so maybe that makes up for it.
Lastly, the reasons so many of us post over here are this: probably 70% of the posts on this thread don't deal with Hillary, but with the person
we support. We're usually posting to either correct misinformation or put forward our own opinion about something. We also post here to defend
ourselves, as there doesn't seem to be any objection here to classifying all Obama supporters as the same, despite the obvious untruth of that statement. And lastly, we post here because, in the end, we are all Democrats that believe in many of the same things. Despite our differences, the things that should unite us as a party are legion compared to the things that are dividing us.
And about that last point. I would like to point out that despite being called a troll, a misogynist, and stupid, I have not attacked a single person on this thread. Yes, I've disagreed with some point or another that has been posted. But nowhere have I posted the kind of vitriol that has been thrown at me here. If you don't believe that, go back and read my posts. Not a single one attacks a group of people
or an individual on a personal level. I have disagreed, and for that I'm being vilified while posters with a history of attacking other liberals are patted on the back for jumping in on the fun.
This nomination process is almost over, and like me or not, we're going to be on the same side of most political disagreements that don't center upon our respective choices for the nomination. Right to choose...education...the war in Iraq...health care........the vast majority of you hold the same beliefs on those issues that I do. All I ask is that you think about that before jumping on the bandwagon with a few conservative posters in attacking me personally.
