They were discussing this on Lou Dobbs tonight. He brings the "young" & "economy" thing to the ticket. Also he did come in #2 in the primaries.
Romney is the RNC version of "Hillary"!![]()
I suppose in this election that's as good a reason to vote for the guy as any.![]()
I like Romney. He speaks out of both sides of his mouth on every issue. I know exactly where I stand with a politician like him. He will always do the politically expedient thing.![]()
NOT HAPPENING!
it on the news now...Obama slipped and refered to his VP as "HE"!

FLATWOODS, Ky. (WSAZ) -- With the Democratic National Convention just a week away, there are some local delegates who say a Barack Obama nomination is far from official, including Tyler Murphy.
Murphy -- in a bedroom that looks like a squared oval office, at the ripe old age of 20, a die-hard Democrat and a staunch Bill and Hillary Clinton supporter since he was 8 -- has hit a thin patch
In a formal rules challenge, Murphy and two dozen fellow Kentucky delegates complain that with too many Kentucky men picked under required gender equity, the state Democratic Party replaced pledged Hillary Clinton supporter Todd Hollenbach -- not with a required female Clinton supporter -- but with state representative and Obama activist Ruth Ann Palumbo.
The rule challenge also charges the state party asked Delegate Jeff Harney to resign due to his sexual preference.
"He's a good man (who has) worked for the party, but he is an openly gay male," Murphy said.
The Kentucky Democratic Party response is that each replacement delegate is pledged to Clinton. Murphy said he's one of many national Clinton supporting delegates not conceding anything yet.
"I feel the Democratic Party leadership has failed the rank and file," he said. "As a delegate, I'll be voting for Hillary Clinton."
Murphy said he has nothing but respect for Kentucky Democratic Party Chair Jennifer Moore. But he also feels the early Democratic state caucuses were skewed to Obama, and the Florida and Michigan primary outcomes were unfair to Clinton. Murphy also said there are many Democratic delegates like him across the U.S. who may not be standing hand-in-hand supporting Obama after the last ballot.
This is absolutely the stupidest thing I have ever read. I think Maureen Dowd is off her rocker. She's been nasty since the primaries, but this piece of alternate reality fiction takes the cake.

Obama was supposed to be the stronger candidate right? He was our only hope to beat McCain right?
HA! McCain takes 5-point lead over Obama.

In a poke at all of the VP buzz, the Obama campaign on Wednesday sent an e-mail to reporters with the subject line "Vice presidential ..."
The first line of the e-mail: "Just kidding." The e-mail contained details about Obama's schedule with no mention of any of the potential vice presidential candidates.

On CNN.com, I found the link name to this article to be funny: "Waiting on Obama VP gets old, tired and then funny"
The actual article title is: Speculation, anticipation as Obama's VP announcement nears
But I think that the media if finally beginning to tire of Obama's antics.
Not any new info in the article really... they had this to say:
Give it another couple of months and I bet most of the media-Obama love-fest will be over and they'll turn on him. Then they'll start covering the stories about him such as Ayers, Rezko, ACORN, Palestinians donating to his campaign.. stuff that should have been covered months ago but will now be too late to do anything about once the Convention is over next week.
