I got an email from the governor today and there was a quote that struck me as amusing in it.....

For the last week, we've been broadcasting a radio ad featuring Barack Obama encouraging people to vote tomorrow in the primary.

In response, our Republican opponent's supporters are attacking Barack Obama, calling him "arrogant" and mocking him as an elitist who "spends his time on the beaches of Hawaii or wooing Europeans at rallies in Berlin..."

Should we call him Dictator Obama? Do you refer to socialist leaders as Dictators? I need to go and get the 411 on socialism since that is the direction this country is headed should we have an Obama leadership.

How about "Dear Leader"? I like the sound of that much better than "Der Fuhrer" (BTW, I am NOT comparing him to Hitler-so don't jump on me)

:lmao: Does your governor read this thread????? :lmao:
I dont think the DNC leaders FULLY realize that their own party is talking like this too.:confused3

******
I would gladly write the speach for Hillary. Give her a few drinks before she goes on!!!!

The speach would be very Brooklynized!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

"My fellow Democrats, are you Flippen kidden me....YOU WANT THIS 2008 version of Eddie Haskell to be the nominee.....(and so and so on!)":lmao: :lmao:

Me thinks he would like just simply OOOOObama!:worship: :worship: :worship:

Maybe wear a crown for 'special occasions" & lets not forget the "ring kiss" thing!

:worship: Hale Obama ..that's what I think when I see him.....NOT :lmao:

I am so tiered of this whole election. I find it such a joke all the way around but mostly on the DEM side...I mean ...ARE THEY FOR REAL :headache: ...this is a joke the way they are acting. The worse part of it all is that Obama who is so much about change is right in there playing the games with Pelosi and Dean.....it's like they are all kissing each others *** :rotfl:

So what are we suppose to do :confused3 they want our vote, the DEMS that is, but think they should have it just because .......All I can say is sorry ....I dont give my vote away that easy.....

And with the way things keep going with war...McCain is looking better every day....but he scares me also......

So what's a voter like us to do popcorn::

By the way heres an interesting read....http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/08/17/america/obama.php

This election is going to be a blowout, right?

So much for Obama changing the Electoral College Map!!!!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Anybody here reading ObamaNation????

I am about 1/3 way through.....Real tough read, when dealing with Obamas family & neighbors in Indonesia & Africa....I get lost with the names.:lmao:
But very interesting, the author pulls together many articles written about Obama, and Obama speeches, interviews...and try's to match everything up. Nothing is jiving.

This is not a book one will get any new revelations from, but the author pulled all the resources and put them together.

So far it punching holes in Obamas book(which I never read), regarding Timelines, even inaccuracies in is own book, things Obama said he did, or even thing skipped over or "sortalike mentioned"...etc. A term used in the book is "Hypothetical Lying".

One interesting thing was in Obamas book, he never mentioned the birth of his sister. (things like this).
Obamas BF in HS, who he rights about in the book...asked Obama for help...and BO just blew him off.

To me Obama comes across, especially as a teen, as Charlton, the Fresh Prince of Belairs cousin:lmao: yet somehow convinced himself when he was older that he was really a Angry Black teen.

But He did have a very sad childhood, in the aspect that his father was no where in sight. Which was probably best for everyone. It seems SR. was a raging alcoholic. His Mom is a bit wacky too. His Grandparents spoiled him, but they may have been just a bit too old to be raising a teen. :confused3

I still haven't picked-up ObamaNation. Have you heard anything about the book 'The Case Against Barack Obama' by David Freddoso?

I don't know how much I trust this book and its author. I prefer to make my own decisions without relying on the Republican smear machine. Obama himself has provided me with more that enough reasons not to vote for him.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/08/its_no_longer_just_about_hilla.html

Take a look. I find this rather interesting for several reasons. 1) Dems failed women and women are not going to forgive them; 2) Many Hillary supporters are not budging and refuse to vote for Obama.

When will they understand that it’s not sour grapes that is causing such a large percentage of Hillary Supporters to not vote for Obama? It’s because she lost unfairly (not lost – lost unfairly) and the DNC put up an inexperienced, egotistical candidate whose flat out stated he didn’t need our votes. It’s that she was treated so horribly and it’s blatantly obvious that there was sooo much corruption going on during this primary that have caused the HS to speak out loudly.

If Obama wasn’t a corrupted jerk that lies about everything and hasn’t done anything and Hillary had lost fairly then movements such as PUMA would exist. News articles commenting on how many Hillary Supporters are not voting for Obama would exist. The Democratic Party wouldn’t have become divided.

It’s because of the harsh, unfair treatment of Hillary – the candidate who won the popular vote – that all of this came about.

I found this quote quite telling….

DNC chairman Howard Dean has called Ruccia twice. "He was just waking up to the thought that women around the country were upset over the treatment of Hillary,"

They’ve dismissed the Hillary supporters just like they dismissed Hillary Clinton herself. Now that Donna Brazil’s “New Democratic Party” that she boasts will win Obama the election is proving in the polls to not be doing so well they’re finally catching on that not everyone out there drank the Obama kool-aid this primary. There are people who paid attention to the underhanded tactics that went on and are quite peeved about it.

As the PUMA movement states: I own my vote. They’re not allowing the DNC to have their vote just because they’re Democrats. The DNC has reason to worry.

The party was so worried about Obama supporters rioting in the streets in case he lost the primary (take a look at some early posts on this very thread), that they forgot that Hillary supporters, while they may not riot, vote and vote consistently.

Obama may eke out a victory in this election, I don't know, but in a year when the Dems should have had a cake walk to the White House I think Obama is not doing so well.

You got that right! In the beggining the DEMs had it won befoe they were even out of the gate. I still cant get over Pelosi and Dean....what a joke. I am not just upset because of her unfairness as a woman but as a how she was treated as a Democrat.

And what bugs me is according to the info they keep showing on the news.....65% of Dems want Hillary as his VP....and the others are from 29% down to 4%. So why would you take someone as your VP that no one really wants. :confused3

If MCCain picks the louisiana Gov as his VP choice I will lean farther to McCain than to Obama and his picks. I like that Gov....he is so smart and to me is someone that can move mountains.

:scared: Am I the only solidly pro choice person on this thread? Jindal is so wrong!!!

Additionally, McCain needs someone with some strong economic credentials. Jindal has no economic ideas at all.

I really am a solid leftie and Jindal as VP may just push me into voting for Obama. :scared:

If he surprises everyone and picks Lieberman, he will definitely get my vote.

:rotfl: dont worry I dont think Jindal will be his pick.....so relax and breath in than breath out....there ya go feel better:goodvibes Jindal is very far Right......as Obama is very far left......so I cant get why I feel that way being I'm a DEm....but every time I here him talk he Rocks me :confused3 I have no doubt that in the years to come as he gets more seasoned he will run for POTUS....As for experience Jindal to me is smarter than Obama and he is younger than McCain.

As for pro choice ......I am. But that is only one of the facets to the issues. Many on both sides I dont agree with. I still believe that I will end up not voting because I feel like a push me pull me......you know the two headed lamas  .....one minute I'm going one direction than before i know it I'm heading back in the other....

The pain the pain......popcorn::

I really think McCain will go with Romney!
