Magic Beyond tickets are more then current discount

I renewed my Membership magic beyond thinking it would be worth it for the Disney world ticket discount deal. I called up today and the price was more then the current promotion they have.
It was $708 for 5 day special ticket in June
But you can get a 6 day ticket in June that includes weekend for $699
Yes the 5 day includes water parks, but just feels like a worse deal.

Really feels like that 6 to 7 months out of the year regular Disney World ticket promotions are better then Magic Beyond.

Just really disappointed with the Magic Beyond, it was worth it last year because i was able to get a nice discount on Disneyland tickets plus we actually used the One Time Use points.
But this year i dont think its going to get us any value.

I’m sure there are seasons where it’s beneficial and others where it’s not. I only bought if I knew I was buying OTUP or if I knew I would need memory maker.

Also next year wait to buy MMB until ticket prices are released if that is the main reason for buying.

Yes the DLR tickets were nice last year and even cheaper than costco's or sam's I can't remember which.

Just buy some OTUP and swap them into your June trip assuming that you didn't book at the 11 month window and then use or bank those points to the next year if it is not past your banking deadline.

In fairness, WDW ticket promotions that are available to the general public are quite rare.

Yes but the last couple of summers they have been offering them although the best bang for your buck would leave out MK or were 1 park per day tickets only.

The MMB Disney world ticket deal was not great last year either, but the Disneyland ticket deal is pretty good (we used that).

Nope. But lightning lane comes with it so the discounted DLR tickets would give it to you.

In a sense yes.

The DLR tickets come with lightning lane.
Lightning Lane comes with photo pass

If you remember, Maxpass, it came with photo pass as well DLR lightning pass is basically the same product with a new name.

Does anyone remember when they released the half priced kids tickets last year? Before or after summer/fall resort package promotions? Really hoping they do something for the dvc members that need day tickets. Maybe they’re waiting to see how many bookings they get with current promotions?

I would not expect a special deal for DVC members. But, IIRC, they were released around this time with summer and early fall deals.

I think the 4 days, 4 park ticket may be this summers ticket special.

I got it for the one time use points but we were in Epcot last week and it was hot hot and it sure was nice to go to the lounge with a waitlist and have no wait at all

Do they know you have MMB? When I was in Disneyland they told me I’d have a 20 min wait for inside or zero for outside. I was fine with outside so didn’t mention my MMB but wasn’t sure if I needed to.

I priced out MMB for a late July stay vs the buy4get2 deal and MMB was actually a bit cheaper for me, maybe $20-30 each. We are able to work around the weekday thing with a water park day and beach/ college visit day. The bonus is 4 of our 5 park days are now bookable 11+ days out so we should get pretty much whatever dining and LL we want. We fly from AZ so the water park on check in day perk doesn’t work for us unless we take the red eye.
