I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. The only reason so many people are supoorting Hillary now is because she has a real opponent in Barack Obama. The young people are out in support of HIM, not her and not just because of Bush. People would not be so radically supporting her now if Obama wasn't in it.

And he is right, the buck does stop with him. Bush had how many people advising him and who do we place all the blame on ? Bush because he is the commander in chief.

I feel that you need to hear the generals out and than make a decision and I don not just fault the generals i also fault Bush...it is not a one man show when it comes to war. He made it sound like he would listen but that means nothing to him that even if they were to tell him that it is important to make a decision one way...if he did not agree with all the Generals than it would be done his way.



All the Hillary supporters I know are not voting for Hillary because of Obama...they are supporting her because they feel she is best to be POTUS. and I don't understand what you mean by "People would not be so radically voting for Hillary if Obama was not in it". WE also want a Dem in the house but at this time we are Hillary supporters and are not that much of a Obama supporter. Obama complaining about Hillary being NEG and that is bad politics yet he has NEG adds in PA right know. We get tired of the Obama double standard.

He never had a problem all these months when the media and he were going Neg at her...know it's on him and he is upset. I want to see what he can handle....when McCain comes in Obama is going to have a big big problem. And that is what is all over the news.

Hopefully we will all unite when we get our nomination of either Obama or Hillary...if not than we will have McCain. And I blame that on both Hillary and Obama.

The media on all the channels are talking about his crying today...and how the answers he gave last night on economy and the war were so off base.

The only ones right at this time cheering Obama on and his rantings about last night are his supporters. As for making a difference in turning Hillary supporters to him or Rep supporters to him or OS leaving him will not change.

PHILADELPHIA – Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton made her first-ever appearance on “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central Thursday, and she stayed just long enough to make fun of her image as a know-it-all.

As the host Stephen Colbert began the show, he told the audience that a technical problem had shorted out the enormous screen behind him.

“Are you telling me there is no one in this theater who can fix the mess we’re in?” Mr. Colbert said.

Enter Mrs. Clinton, who strode out on stage, smiling.

“I can,” she said. “I can, Stephen!”

After pausing for applause, Mrs. Clinton said, “Let me handle this,” and squinted up into some imaginary rafters to talk a technician through the problem.

Then she moved onto the issue of Mr. Colbert’s appearance.

“You know what, Stephen?” she said. “Your forehead is a little shiny. Makeup! Makeup! Can we get some translucent powder, please?”

Mr. Colbert said in mock amazement, “Wow, Senator Clinton! You’re so prepared for any situation!”

Mrs. Clinton replied, “That’s O.K., Stephen. I just love solving problems.”

She also got to engage in some backstage chitchat with former Senator John Edwards, who was a guest on the show tonight.

RNC Beating DNC At The Money Game

While the GOP is having a terrible time raising money for their House and Senate races, portending further Dem gains in Congress, the Republicans are in fact having huge success in another area.

The Republican National Committee has announced that they have $31 million cash-on-hand at the end of March, money that can be used to assist John McCain as well as down-ballot races this Fall.

Quarterly figures aren't available yet for the DNC, but it's likely they'll be way behind -- at the end of February, they only had $4.8 million on hand, with $250,000 in outstanding debts.

This is essentially a tradeoff that comes with Howard Dean's 50-state strategy -- if the DNC's primary mission is to act as a financial and organizational clearinghouse for state parties and candidates, it ends up not raising very much money for itself. We'll find out in the months to come whether the Republicans can successfully exploit this weakness.

Late Update: A DNC source reminds us that the Dems don't have a nominee yet. When that happens, the DNC is confident that the fundraising will pick up significantly.

I don't understand why more people would be supporting Hillary because Obama is a real candidate. Unless they are reacting negatively to Obama, that doesn't make sense to me.

I can only go by myself. I was a strong Edwards supporter until he dropped out and then I had to take a long, hard look at those who were left. I simply liked Hillary better.
