Yikes! I think this will be the only political thread that I will be posting on from now until all this mess is resolved.

Some of those Obama supporters! I cannot believe how much they believe their own bull schnitzel! I mean NO political candidate is perfect and 100% right. Ever! No PERSON is!

And I hate how they are making me look like I agree with flippin repubs! I don't! But it is very clear to me that right is right and wrong is wrong. And this cow puckey with Obama and his pastor is not right. No matter what side of the card you look at - racism is 100% unacceptable. And it will not go away by reversing it - we have to stamp it out completely. Quit justifying something that is wrong!

Yes. It's kinda rough on me having to agree with right wing crazies. I am also having trouble with some of the economic bail out threads, but then I have always been fiscally conservative. I would just like to say that it was not a bail out of Bear Stearns. It was a bailout of the US financial markets.

My expectations weren't quite so high. (We ARE talking about politicians. )

I hold it against each of them (fwiw) that they both (for political reasons) voted to FUND the war.

...However since BO is so hellbent on putting HC down for voting for the war, and he voted to fund it....I cant overlook his hypocrisy involving this matter.

Regarding McCain, we'll have plenty of time to hit him this summer & fall.

Hopefully by the summer we will KNOW who is really "the ONE".

(& there will be some serious sorting out going on in Altoona, Allentown, Bethlehem, Lancaster, etc.)

Just wanted to say that I agree 100% with the right/wrong thing. It seems the Obama people are the only ones who don't get it. They're too busy convincing themselves that Americans are stupid and will have forgotten this by next week and that we are the "true racists" by not understanding the black church and by looking for excuses not to vote for a black candidate.

I love the fact that Penn. is so spread out & (in many areas) so old school. (as is much of Ohio & Western NY). A bunch of beer & a shot folks who aren't quite as impressed with lovely speakers but instead would prefer someone who will "get things done" & who is tough.

In a former business life I had the good fortune to spend 6 individual weeks training folks out of Pittsburg, Philadelphia & Buffalo (wholesale locations). Spent many a night in towns like Altoona, Meadville, Jamestown & Elmira NY, Lancaster, Allentown etc, etc. (normally watching basketball games in the motel bar at night with the locals while I had a cheese steak or sausages or sumthin for dinner.) These are such "salt of the earth" people. Great people. Can't wait to see how they vote in 5 weeks.
