[QUOTE="Got Disney";24364409]Hope her predictions are correct:thumbsup2 Would like that ticket. The both care about the working class people.Would sure love to know what Sylvia thought :goodvibes

Me too, Robin, me too. :thumbsup2

I always wanted a Clinton/Clark ticket. But Clinton/Edwards would also be wonderful for the country

Me too. It was the #1 reason I voted for her. My #2 reason was that she has more of a plan to get us out of Iraq. Unfortunately, Obama's lack of a plan is showing with yesterday's backtracking on how long it will take to pull all of our troops out.

I think who worried me the most with the pull out was Richardson. He was pulling everyone out in like 2 days..exagerating of course but you get my point.

I missed what he said yesterday about it. Has his plans changed. I know that he was planning on leaving about 60-80,000 troops or was that (6-8,000 cant remember) there to take care of our interests and that he was not going to pull everyone out. But that is old news....what did he say yesterday...:confused3

I really think its lousy how Chelsea is being heckled about Monica Lewinsky. I think she is handling it well by just saying that is our private life. What does any of this have to with Hillary's ability to run the country?

The boy that first brought the question up who is a Hillary supporter was wrong IMO to ask such a question. To me out of all the 50 million questions he could have asked her he waisted it asking that :confused3

If you have a question like that you ask Hillary herself....not Bill or chelsea. Do you think if it was Bill there or Hillary he would have?

I dont think he would have had the (place word with ba** here) to.

Me too! The Health Plan is my #1 concern for this country (I believe our current Health Care crisis causes a HUGE part of our Countrys working class whoa's)
Obamas plan isnt even doable, and will never happen. I actually liked Edwards plan better.
But on the plus side Hillary's does keep the current crop of Health Care providers in business...ALONG with their millions of their Employees!:thumbsup2

For 15 years of my career, I spent implementing software that cuts way down on office printing...etc. I must admit I am a bit of a expert in the field!:snooty: ;) For the companies that went towards 'paperless' and did it the right way.....the savings were ASTOUNDING.
One major Financial InsititutionI did this for saved $5million in the first 3 years!:thumbsup2
Really the cost saving is SIGNIFICANT.

Anyhooooooooooooo back on track...... Hillary talks extenively about implementing this 'paperless office' to save $ in order to pay for the Health care...THIS IS BRILLIANT!!!!:thumbsup2

This cost savings is not a widely held thought in the business world (unfortunately). In fact when Executives are first told of the amount of savings other companies had...their jaws drop, as if "its too good to be true"...But it is! It is one of those "it should be so obvious" but it's not type things.
In fact one company I worked for they told me it was they either had to lay off 100's of employees or get this syatem to work. We got it working and saved 100's of peoples jobs!

Im even less thrilled with Obama wanting to talk to ajemdijan (whatever his name is...from Iran):headache: REAL BAD thing IMO!

That is sad.

I wonder why they dont ask McCain about his affairs?:rolleyes1

I love the way she handles it-very professional. Not rude, not condescending, just very matter of fact.

I don't think the Lewinsky issue had any relevance during the time it was going on either, actually. It was always a personal issue between Bill and Hillary. The only thing that annoyed me was that Bill lied to a Grand Jury and got away with little significant consequence. Let a private citizen try that.

Kaiser uses electronic charting and the Dr's like it much better. Can imagine the money it saves.

They are talking about Obama and the Rev. Meeks and his anti terrorist speeking acquaintance

Private Citizens do do that - its prosecuted by prosecutor discretion.

I will never hold that stupid lying against Bill Clinton - it should NEVER have been brought under Ken Starr's jurisdiction. Who wouldn't try to lie about an affair? Well those people on that stupid game show.......

People are now asking Chelsea it more - because its making the news. Its their 15 minutes of fame.........

Obama Outspending Hillary Almost 3-1 On Pennsylvania Ads
By Eric Kleefeld - April 9, 2008, 9:34AM

The latest advertising numbers are in from Pennsylvania, and they show just how much Barack Obama has been using his fundraising advantage — Obama has spent $3.6 million on television ads in the key primary state, compared to only $1.3 million from Clinton.

Hillary needs an overwhelming win in this state in order to make a dent in Obama's delegate margin, and it obviously can't help her that she's being outspent by nearly 3-1 on TV.

He has the money. They were talking today a little about how once he has the nomination( that is if he gets it) he can only use the funds the same way that McCain promised to. Forget what it was but it has been talked about before and my brain is dead tonight. Something where he cant take money from this or that or only a certain amount.

Can someone help me please :rotfl2:

Have you seen this....it is another one of Obamas supporters and also one of his advisors....they were talking about it on Hannity and clomes tonight

Poll suggests McCain-Rice ticket could win big
Posted: 07:15 PM ET

(CNN) – Condoleezza Rice has said she has no desire to be John McCain's running mate, but a new poll out Wednesday suggests that duo could beat the Democratic ticket in the bluest of states.

In a new poll conducted by Marist College and WNBC, a McCain-Rice ticket would beat a ticket that includes both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in New York — a state that reliably votes for the Democratic candidate. (In 2004, John Kerry beat President Bush there by nearly 20 points. In 2000, the margin between Al Gore and Bush was an even higher 25 points.)

But should McCain and Rice team up, the poll suggests the two Republicans would carry New York, defeating a Clinton-Obama ticket by 3 points (49-46 percent) and an Obama-Clinton ticket by 5 points (49-44 percent.)

The poll comes days after a leading Republican strategist suggested Rice, contrary to her own public statements, is engaging in a behind-the-scenes campaign to land a spot on McCain's ticket. Former Bush administration official Dan Senor made the suggestion on ABC Sunday, noting Rice's recent appearance at the weekly meeting of Americans for Tax Reform — a leading organization of Republican insiders — as evidence she is attempting to cozy up to the conservative elite.

That suggestion immediately had Beltway insiders speculating on the potential advantages Rice would deliver, especially in light of the fact the Democratic presidential ticket will either feature a woman or an African-American for the first time in American history.

Rice herself attempted to put the speculation to rest Tuesday, saying, "I very much look forward to watching this campaign and voting as a voter — I have a lot of work to do and then I'll happily go back to Stanford."

But with polls like this, it's likely some Republicans hope she reconsiders.

I don't believe it for a second - I think Clinton\Obama or Obama\Clinton would kick butt.

Do you think Americans forget Condi's testimony to the 9\11 commission?

I agree and so do most on the Conservative thread that that would not be a good call for McCain. She is very smart but, to many are calling McCain another 4 years of Bush, and if she is on the ticket that will be sure to look like a Bush ticket and not a McCain ticket. Also she is Black and that has not been tested on the REP on how that would go over with the REP white men.

I agree that a O/H will be a winner....also like Hillary/Edwards.

wow did not even realize that I past 6,000 posts almost 6,100 :rotfl2: My son noticed as he was looking at my posts and replied "Wow mom over 6,000 posts...you really have no life do you " :lmao:

Smart alex kid...where's the duct tape and the closet:rolleyes1

Rice worries me a little but I think she's beatable. All the Democrats really need to do is keep on hammering her relationship to Bush home and keep the idea of another four years of Bush front and center.

I wonder how the ultra-Conservatives feel about her?

All the Dems had to do was hammer Bush during 2004 - and look where we ended up!!!! :scared1:

Anything can happen ............ even with her on the ticket!!!

Sophie Masloff, a former mayor of Pittsburgh, will endorse Mrs. Clinton Thursday night at a dinner for Allegheny County Democrats.

The Clinton campaign said that they have also picked up the support of Bill Burga, a former president of the Ohio AFL-CIO.

Jackie Speier, a California lawmaker who this week took over the late Tom Santos’s seat in Congress, has also announced her endorsement of Mrs. Clinton.

Good news.

Saw some poll headlines that had Obama pulling ahead - but I don't necessarily believe them......

And did you see the Elton John comments?

NEW YORK (AP) –Experience is central to Democrat Hillary Clinton's presidential bid, and Wednesday night she tapped one of pop music's most venerable rockers to help fill her campaign coffers with $2.5 million.

Elton John, who has sold records and filled arenas for four decades, played a benefit concert for Clinton at Radio City Music Hall.

"I've always been a Hillary supporter," John, 61, said before launching into his 1970 breakthrough hits, "Your Song" and "Border Song." "There is no one more qualified to lead America."

The English singer, composer and pianist added: "I'm amazed by the misogynistic attitudes of some of the people in this country. And I say to hell with them …. I love you Hillary, I'll be there for you."

The cheapest tickets, $125 and $250, sold out quickly, campaign aides said. The other seats were filled by fans paying as much as $2,300, the limit for an individual's contribution to a federal candidate.

Preceding John on stage were Clinton, her husband, former President Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea.

Hillary Clinton struck a defiant, underdog note in describing her battle against Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

"What I want you to know is I'm still standing, and I believe this country is worth fighting for," the New York senator said, playing off the title of one of John's hits. "So we're taking our campaign to Pennsylvania and all the states that haven't voted." Pennsylvania votes April 22.

The Clintons have hobnobbed with Hollywood and music industry figures for years. In 1998, John performed at a White House State Dinner the couple hosted for then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Last October, Clinton celebrated her 60th birthday with a fundraiser at New York's Beacon Theater that featured actor Billy Crystal and musicians Elvis Costello and the Wallflowers. It netted more than $1.5 million for her presidential effort.
