i see your denny crane picture. are you a william shatner fan? i have always been. in fact its hard to stump me on star trek trivia, and it has troubled me to see him become such a buffoon and a caricature of himself. am looking foreward to the star trek movie in may. to bad they could not come to some agreement for him to be in it. J. J. Abrams says he asked him, shatner sayed no one asked him

Threw my own pirates and princess party for my sons birthday yesterday and now I am sick as a dog after having 15 preschoolers give me their germs. Plus mandatory OT at the hospital today. Fun fun fun.

Random, and a little self indulgent but...

I will be (of 5.15am tomorrow morning, so about midnight for you guys) will no longer be a teenager! I am hitting the big 2-0, apparently it all goes down hill from here!

I have already had my birthday party whilst at Uni, I had a bright pink Disney Princess cake, bought for me by my best friend in the world ever! We decided against 20 candles as it would be a fire hazard!

I was going to post a picture with me blowing them out, but I look too bad in it. I may re-consider after celebratory drinks tomorrow!

I'm glad that this thread got back to food - especially cake.

Which brings up some serious questions to ponder:
What kind of wine goes best with cake?
Does it matter if its chocolate or yellow cake?
And if it does matter, what if the frosting is different such as chocolate frosting on a yellow cake?
Oh yes, what if its cheesecake?

1) None, Wine is gross! Malibu or Smirnoff Ice go much better
2) Yes it does matter, always chocolate over sponge, except if it has very good frosting
