Anyone ever go to high tea solo? dh has no interest. What is the dress code?

Thanks,
Wendy

The dress code is "Resort Casual, no shorts please". A perfect opportunity to wear a sundress if you're bringing one.

You could certainly go solo if you can get a reservation. I personally was not enthralled with high tea but it's certainly an event you can go to alone. :)

I loved the high tea--but I'm a HUGE tea drinker.

Resort casual is definitely the right place to be dress wise--I wore a casual linen pant and blouse set if I recall.

When I dine alone I bring a book, I always feel uncomfortable dining alone otherwise.

We were at High Tea on the 1/25 Eastern, and it was DEAD! Do get ressies if you can. If you can't, stop by and see if there are any openings, particularly if the weather is nice. According to Marco and Salvatore, Concierge books large numbers of ressies, (which is why it is so difficult to get one) and there are a great deal of no-shows. You rarely get a call for a cancellation, because there is no fee to do so, and people simply decide to do something else. When we were there, there were 4 (includung DH and myself) guests. I felt really bad for the wait staff there. The High Tea itself was OK. The company was the best. It was lovely, quiet, and a great way to spend an hour, even if the weather is georgeous! I'd definately do it solo!
