High-speed Internet @ Poly question

Hi!

Does anyone know if the HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) at the Polynesian is a single Ethernet jack or a hub where you can plug in multiple Ethernet connections? I ask because both myself and my godsister are bringing our laptops.

There is only one connection. If it works like other hotels if you both need to use different laptops you would pay for both.

OP - thanks for asking this! We are also staying at the Poly soon, and me and my sister are both bringing laptops. I can already see that my Webkinzed-crazed-IMing nieces will each take one at some point and want to be on the Internet at the same time. I was wondering if I should bring a cable/splitter or something, but I guess not! I guess it will be one laptop at at time on the Internet!

You're welcome! THe laptop thing wasn't an issue 3 weeks ago until my godsister and I bought laptops within a week of each other. Add to that iPods, digital cameras and a camcorder and you get th picture.

I can already see that my Webkinzed-crazed-IMing nieces will each take one at some point and want to be on the Internet at the same time.

My daughter and youngest nephew have been talking about this same thing! They talk about how they can 'take care' of their Webkinz while at Disney. I told them they'd be too busy doing rides and attractions but they don't quite believe me...

I was thinking of doing just this. I'll probably bring my ethernet router from home. Not sure if it will work but the computer geek in me won't be satisfied until I try.
