Well ds got his senior portraits back. They did take alot of pictures of him. He wanted 2 different ties. The portrait session for that was free but we had to pay $10 for the cap and gown pose. I know we did this 2 years ago with ds2 but I never bought that pose either and I couldnt remember if he had the cap on or off etc.. I asked ds -why arent you wearing the cap in the picture and just holding it? He said, oh the photographer told me, we dont let kids wear the cap because we dont want any problems with lice!!:scared1: If I had known that I might not have wasted the $10. Anyone else have this situation?

We don't do a cap and gown pose, I don't know of anyone that ever has. I would have the same concern as the photographer though :scared1:.

Maryann, I never heard of that!

Alex got his senior pictures taken too! I can't believe they are seniors!!!

I ordered enough pictures that I qualified to receive the cd with all the photos taken from his session . They also include a waiver of release so I will be able to print or do whatever I want with them. You can bet I will post some here when I get it!;)

I wish our photographer would do this--everyone else does-I found out AFTER we did pictures. I am still trying to convince her that she would get a LOT of free advertising if she did this because people would be posting pictures on web sites, etc. She doesn't get it :lmao:.

How much were everyones pictures? She charged an arm and a leg too (she is a business associate so I sort of had to use her--but I won't for the twins knowing what I know now).

Our order came to $600, but that was my order and his dad's order combined.

I ordered a framed 11 x 14, a 12 x 12 framed composite with 9 of my favorite poses, a bunch of wallets. Then they threw in extras like a book with all the pictures in his setting, and the cd with all the photos in high resolution and the waiver. His dad opted for a larger framed print. We used a company named "Woodard Photographic". They did an awesome job!:thumbsup2

My DS has always worn glasses but we decided to have them taken without them. What a difference it makes! Funny thing is DS was so happy with the pictures he decided to start practicing touching his eye and was fitted with contact lenses yesterday!:)

We got 1 11x14, 2-8x10's and 32 wallets for $450 plus the $100 sitting fee (that was supposed to be free but she "changed her plan"). None of the pictures are framed, which I still need to frame our 11x14. I got some frames at Walmart for the 8x10's for Grandparents. :scared1:
