Actually, is there anything in the old theatre that use to house "Doug Live" - that would be perfect for a modified HSM.

That's the theater at MGM that formerly housed "Superstar Television."

If they wanted the show at MGM, I think that would be a good option.

I guess they want it at MK, and the Tomorowland Theater fits that bill.

BTW, "Disney's Doug-LIVE" was a GREAT show! Wish they kept it.
I don't think "Doug" is affiliated with Disney any longer.

I was SUPPOSED to be in that show when I was down there, but it was announced to close 2 weeks after the fact :( It was rumored that Nickelodian bought the rights back, but I never tried to confirm that.

:rolleyes1 It's hard to believe that I couldn't see that you were always right beside me.... :rolleyes1

:teeth: DH refuses to go to the HSM show with me, so if you there in Dec. and see a 20 something dancing along with the little kids, yeah, that'll be me. :)

Too bad we won't be there the same week. I'm a 20 something going in November and will definitely be out there dancing with the kids!

Yeah, that show lives on in my house in the red Doug t-shirts (with his big face on it), and the frosty "Doug Live" mugs. I love how Doug (the cartoon version) was pretty much bald, like a modern day Charlie Brown. Although Patty Mayonnaise was quite a bit chattier than Charlie's "red haired girl".

Here's a link about "Disney's Doug Live" at MGM.

I thought I read somewhere that the HSM Pep Squad would be kind of a travelling show within MK -not located in any one theater :confused3 . Anyhow, DD9 and -yes - DS6  are big HSM fans. I just can't relate. We are going the last week of October, but I haven't mentioned the new show coming. I figure it will be quiet the surprise when the Wildcat Pep Squad comes rolling down the path.

Come to think of it... MK will have shows that titillate the kids (HSM) and also DW (Pirates... Johnny Depp lokalike yada yada yada  ), but what's new for ME? Shouldn't they throw a bone out there for us Dads? ;)

The bone is that your DW and kids will be happy! :yay: hee hee! :lmao:

My girls, 9 and 6, LOVE HSM! They will be over the moon if there is any kind of related show when we go in December. And I'll enjoy it too, really cute movie and I have been known to steal my dd's CD and listen on my own. :woohoo:

Perky young cheerleaders bouncing around...that may be the only bone Disney is going to throw to you dads - SORRY!! :cheer2:
