Our high schools was 62% which isn't great, but it is better than the 48% at the other local high school. They decided to close a school and guess which one was closed. There was no way I was sending my DD to a school that was 30 minutes from our home with lower graduation rates than her old school had. We chose to send her to a county school with 98.5% rate. That is not the only criteria we used. I was on a committee that studied the area school systems and was shocked at what I learned. The more I learned the more I knew my DD wasn't going to school there.
If any of you watch the TV show on MTV called Teen Mom, its the school that Amber dropped out of. Does that tell you anything??????
