High heels in Disney, hiking in flip-flops

I guess I am one of the ones people stare at!! I wear "heels" at WDW - not when "doing" the park but when we go back into a park for dinner I usually dress up a tad from the normal park attire. Last weekend we went to the BD and I had on short black sandal heels...:)

I'm right there with ya. When we were there a couple of weeks ago I always wore my Nike shox to the parks but in the evenings it was always my slide/sandals with heels (i'm only 5'3 - i like all the height i can get ;) !)

This was one of those topics that just cracked me up on our Disney trip. I couldn't tell you how many people especially women I saw wearing flip flops, high heeled shoes, and kids wearing plastic princess shoes. This is fine if this is what you are comfortable with, and can handle walking for hours in this type of footwear. But, I noticed people rubbing their feet, bandaids on feet, little girls moaning with pain from their princess shoes, why not just wear sneakers or comfortable walking sandals? :confused3
