Since we are going in November I don't really know what the weather will be like but I will probably have to wear jeans and I can't stand wearing sneakers with jeans--I always wear high heeled boots (like stilettos) or just high heels...am I crazy to walk around in a park like that--I normally wear my boots/heels for hours on end.
First, it can be quite warm in November, and as a high heel wearer, there is nothing worse than being in heels all day when it's really warm!
Second, just because you don't want to wear sneakers with jeans doesn't mean you need to wear heels, does it?

There are so many cute shoe options, even with a bit of a heel (like a low-heeled wedge). I'm not much of a flats wearer because it's almost impossible to find a pair that doesn't rub my heels to shreds unless they have elastic backs, and the kind of flats I can wear (with elastic backs) have NO support or padding to keep my feet from getting tired after standing and walking on pavement all day.
Believe me, I love my high heels, but there's a time and place for everything and this may not be either. I hear you on wearing heels for hours on end - so do I. But do you walk, stand in line, get on and off rides, buses, etc for hours on end in those heels?
And if this is about having jeans that are too long for flats, IMHO, every woman should have jeans that work with both. It's so easy and cheap to have jeans hemmed these days - and hemmed in ways that still look "right" for jeans. If that's the issue, I HIGHLY recommend having a couple of pair of jeans hemmed rather than risking blistering your feet and negatively impacting your ability to enjoy your (not cheap) vacation!
