Hidden mickey's glitch?

I seem to remember reading that others have had this problem so I apologize if this is repetitive. I have found all 50 mickey's but only 48 are registering. There are two (big thunder mountain mine on ground and frontierland hub on roof) that don't seem to register as hidden mickeys. When I take the photo, the mickey ears are highlighted but there is no text and neither of these come up on my found mickeys inventory.

Any help would be appreciated.

yes it happened to me, When I went back and took the picture again it finally registered.

Hmm...I know I've taken them several times already in the past. Perhaps it makes a difference if you do it twice while you are logged in to the same session? I don't know but I'll try it again.

ETA: Okay, just tried taking photos of both spots twice again and still nothing is registering. Anyone else have any suggestions? I only need these two to complete all 50.

yes i had sort of the same problem.. my count says i only found 49 but if you count all the names of places that i found a hidden mickey... there is 50.. i dont know how to fix that either..

I do not know if the following will work as your case seems a little different than most (in that the mickey shows up highlighted), but my suggestion would be to take a picture of the OTHER hidden mickey in each of those rooms.

So I just received a completely pointless reply to my hidden mickey dilemma from vmk support:

Hi,

We've checked your account and can see that you have not yet found all of the Hidden Mickeys.

You can check your progress by clicking the T-shirt icon on your VMK toolbar (to the right of the chat bar) and click on "FOUND MICKEYS". This contains your Quest Diary and lists all Hidden Mickeys you have found so far.

It could be that you captured the same Mickey more than once. This would still place the photo in your Photo Catalog, but not add it to the count of found Mickeys. You only get credit for capturing each Hidden Mickey one time.

As a side note, you can delete photos from your Photo Catalog and receive 5 credits for each deleted photo. Deleting photos from your Catalog does not erase them from the Quest Diary.



Duh...I have found all 50. I have checked my list over and over and over. It is simply that those particular two will not register on the list, despite the mickey showing up in the photo. It's just a game and I guess I'll get over it but I spent a lot of time finding those things only to be told at the end that there is nothing I can do because these last two won't register.

BobRichmond is correct, if you are having problems with a certain photo and there are two Mickeys in that room. Take a picture of the OTHER Mickey.

I had this problem before I left for my trip. It was on Tom Sawyer's Island. It said I had taken the picture over the rock, so when I tried to take the other on the shed, it didn't register. What I found out later after doing it with several mules is that sometimes the names are switched. So even though I had take the picture on the shed, it registered as the picture over the rock. When I went back and took BOTH pictures again, it solved the problem. Seems to happen when there are two Mickeys in the room.

yeah i had the same problem! i took the picture twice before logging off and it worked the second time for me. maybe it will work for you!!

Thanks. I did try taking the photos twice and that didn't work but I will try the other ones in the same rooms and see if that works.

ETA: I just followed the suggestion of taking the other pictures in the same room and it worked! Thanks again.

Hello all,

I have found 49 and can not find the last one. I know there was one in the pirate lobby game before but now they have changed the setting I can not find it anyone. Can anyone help?

it's pretty much in the same place as the old one was. or really close by.

my problem was that I thought one of my hidden mickeys wasn't showing up and I had checked a master list against what was listed in VMK Central..only to find out one of the hidden mickeys I missed (Elephant Bathing Pool) was listed in the same line as another hidden mickey. once I snapped that pic, I got the last hidden mickey, the pin and the credits. I was happy once again.

It is in the ropes just under the point of land (above the docks, just left of center screen).

i didn't have that problem. I found 49 of the mickeys in about an hour, and the last one i had found a few days before by accident.
