Our first trip was the end of Feb 2010

Looks like we will be going March 2011 this time maybe ( I keep changing the date LOL) They seem to have more deals in Feb than the sec week of March?

Our last trip was great. I was a little disappointed:sad1: with Animal Kingdom so I think we will skip that one this time around. Ummmm anyways that's it any advice from the veteran Disney goers is welcome.

:welcome: to the DIS. Too bad about your AK experience. Not all parks are loved by all. Did you see Devine? Festival of the Lion King? Ride Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safari?

Didn't see Devine but we did see Festival of the Lion King, The Bug's Life show and The Kilimanjaro Safari....It just really felt like the streets were closing in on us they were so crowded and we only saw like 2 characters, the raccoon from Pocahontas and the Timon from Lion King. My kids didn't really care for the Lion King Festival but really liked the Safari and A Bug's Life show. It just wasn't as fun as MK,Epcot and MGM.

(My kids were 2 and 4) they are 3 and 5 now.

Actually suprisingly enough everyone told me Epcot wouldn't be good for such young kids but that turned out to be the best place next to MK. My kids loved the piggy bank game and the extra time with Snow White when she showed up in Germany while we were there.

Now that they are a little older you may find they enjoy the Animal Trails to see some real animals, and the Nemo Show, and the Flights of Wonder show, in addition to the things you have done. There are several Character spots, but they are a little hidden. CM's should be able to help you find them.

The 5 year old is probably old enough to enjoy the Kim Possible game this trip (the 3 year old can also help), so you may want to check that out, and also the Kidcot stations in each country.

Welcome!! Im Samantha and I am new here too.

I hear ya, not to big on Animal Kingdom, MK is my favorite.
I heard that Epcot is a better place if you want some more interactions with characters cause its less crowded then MK. :thumbsup2

Welcome!! This is the best place to be for advice!!:cheer2:

If you DO go to Animal Kingdom, head towards The Lion King show. There are 'trails' where you can find the characters. (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald Duck) There is no pushing or shoving, and if there is a line, it's not long. They have always been very organized as far as getting your picture taken/seeing the characters. :goodvibes

We loved the Piggy Bank adventure too! (both kids and parents). And as mentioned above, Kim Possible in EPCOT is a blast! :goodvibes

Oh Gosh I have no idea:confused3 this is our second trip and we plan to go somewhere between Feb 27th and March 7th (still discussing dates with our TA) We are looking at some dates with the free meal plan but I am terrible at organization:sad2: and worry we will either miss reservations or be on the wrong side of the park and have to run like crazy to get to them,But it seems like such a good deal:confused:

We think we want to stay at Pop this time...we stayed at movies last time.

But I keep seeing people post about people staying off site so ...:confused:

We know for sure we want to see as many princess: as possible since the girls adore the Disney princess:,s and still talk about them since our trip last year and we want to do lots of :3dglasses shows.

Still trying to decide if I want to do Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for my little princess:princess: it seems pretty high but I know they would love it ...I have heard you are more likely to get spend time and get pics at Akershus than at Cinderella's Royal Table:confused:

We stayed at Pop last time and we'll be staying at Movies this next time. Any input on that resort? Sorry you didn't like AK, next to MK it's my favorite. Go again....maybe you'll have a different experience. Have fun planning!

Movies was great for the kid's I thought it could use some updating but the kids loved the giant Buzz Lightyear, the food was not amazing but it was pretty good and they had some pretty healthy snacks for the kids.

We went Feb 27th - March 3rd and even though I have hear the buses are not great for movies we had no problems at all (Of course never having been before it could have been terrible and I just didn't realize it??):rotfl:

We last stayed at Music and didn't have any problems with the busses. I think if you live in a city with public transpo that comes every 5 minutes, you might be disapointed. But then again, if you live in a city where the buses come every 30-45 minutes (been there, hate that), your experience at WDW will be wonderful.
i.e. "OMG we had to wait almost 20 whole minutes for our bus to finally show up." vs "OMG we only had to wait 20 short minutes and before you knew it the bus showed up." :rotfl:

Hi, I am new to disboards but finding it extremely useful. I was in Disney for my first trip last March with my two girls 5 & 6 and wife. It was so amazing and we booked again for this upcoming march.

We stayed at POP and loved it and are going back. The girls loved the characters figures and the pool....the food was great....we all fell in love the breakfast pizza! All around great resort. We did the Dinning Plan and would highly recommend it.

Funny you didn't like AK....we were told that one day would wrap up this park but we kept going back. We always went first think in the morning (three trips) got there when they opened the gates. Head straight for the Kilimanjaro Safari, I would grab fast passes for later in the day. We would tour dino land, a bunch of stuff in between and finish off with the Kali River Rapids. The also enjoyed A bugs Life and just waking around this park, it was relaxing.

Really, we found something special and amazing at each park.
