Hi, my name is Elaine and I'm a thread killer

I am truly a thread killer, I posted to the "what do you do with your change thread" it is now dead. This has now become a game for me.

Well since I had more time on my hands:yay: when I wasn't posting here, I was able to save enough for our Sept trip. My budget decision was to get the 8 day MYW base and add water parks and more. We will do the parks, one water park, Disney Quest, see PI for the first time (kids included so the Adventurers Club and Comedy Club only), ESPN zone, photo shoot at the Poly, and if I can budget one more time MNSSHP... Yeah for budgets!!

This is the first time that it will be just us... No outside family and I am getting very excited!:woohoo:

i know it's in the thread somewhere.......but when are you going again?
DH & i are going to be there (in our beloved ~ seriously, i dream about it :cloud9: ~ BWVs studio with BW view) sept 27-oct 6.
i'm still debating whether to go to PI on our arrival night, before it closes forever on 9/28 :sad1: (we really enjoy comedy warehouse). DH said he would like to see LaNouba (DD & i saw it a few years ago), so may add that if i can get a discount (DVC, etc).
true budgeter that i am ;) the tix are already done (have old ones left), room is our DVC, so just rental car (booked an intermediate at the dolphin for about $150), plane (paid for, about $400 for both of us:yay: ), & food (don't think we're doing the DDP this time. anyone have suggestions for good eateries in the area?)
last year was our first F&W experience, so excited about going into it with more experience (as in, NOT going on the weekends :scared1: ).

other budget things: i wish someone had never treated me to a godiva decadence.....they're addictive but the gazillion calories & $5+ each is a killer (i try to have one instead of dinner sometimes, so hopefully that evens out in the caloric & monetary depts;) ).
& why is it that saving money costs so much?!! every time i get a good coupon (like a macy's $10 of $25, or B&BW free w any purchase), i spend waaaaay more than i need to.

ahhhh, well. :)

Hi all, it's Elaine (OP).....can't believe I'm seeing this thread again!

Please don't let me be the thread killer!

I'm a thread killer everywhere I go. . .one of my first replies was to someone who claimed they were going to have 5 in a Value and I wanted to know how. . .when i went back to look the WHOLE thread was gone. not sure if that was here or another site, but it sure was weird!!!

Oh no-I am the amazing thread killer. What's even better is when you actually start a thread thinking it's the most interesting subject ever that you are really wanting some input on and you get maybe one response...

i think maybe once or twice i have asked and gotten an answer. but other wise i think i am in the dead zone to. but i really really think its because i have brought back 2 all star mugs to reuse them............i know thats why.............oh well..........ill keep trying

I've only posted on a few threads and killed them all :confused3 .
Please forgive me in advance for killing this one! :sad2:
Thread killer,
Jenny

This thread CANNOT be killed--it is cursed! :lmao:

Hello fellow tkers! Good to see you on page one again so soon!:thumbsup2

If you are crafty, go to Michaels! All of their summer craft kits, etc. are on clearance for 70-80% off! I walked out of there with two huge bags of stuff yesterday for less than $40--by golly, I'll use it for something! :rotfl:

And, since I know realize this thread will go on forever, I am no longer paranoid about killing it. It's all the OTHER threads that should worry about my appearance there! :lmao:

HAHA I am evil:lmao::scared: and I will not allow this thread to die!!!!

I feel like a thread killer too.

I never get 'bugged', 'boo'ed', or any of the other little things they do on here.

I had to beg the tag fairy to get me.

Yep your not a thread killer, and know you have officially been quoted on this thread....:rotfl2: ;)

Since I refuse to let this end, I thought I would share my experience on how NOT to spend too much on your DS/DS bday.

1. Do not promise to take your child to a weekend MLG tournament.
2. When you find out that said tournament will be combined with Fan Expo with an additional cost, run as quick as you can!!
3. Never offer to allow your child (in my case DS13) the responsibility to pay for meals while in said vacation... From Friday at 12pm to Sunday at 10pm, I was treated to the following "meals"... 1 - piece of pizza with a side of onion rings/pop, 1 - all beef hot dog concession stand grade, 1/2 of a raisin bagel with my own "small cup" of coffee, 1/2 turkey sub from Subway w/chocolate milk. That's the whole list... I did go on my own for breakfast Sunday am and got each of us our own bagel, juice, and coffee for myself...

Hope everyone has a great week. Diane!

Sincw I am still killing threads wherever I go, I thought I would try exterminating this one again!!!
