Hi everyone

I have just booked my intimate wedding for the 16th October 2006 and im sure i will have loads of questions for you all.

I have been looking at some video's and photos and i cant wait now everything about it looks amazing. A year seems so far away but im sure time will fly.

Could anyone recommend somewhere for a meal after our ceremony say about 5.30. There will be 20 of us and i want something special but i have never been to florida so not to sure about the resturants. We are getting married at the wedding pavillion and having the cake reception at the grand floridian. Ideally i would like something near by and somewhere we can wear out wedding outfits. I would be grateful for your help.

This will be the first question of many im sure. So glad i found this forum.

You can have dinner right there at the GF...

For something REALLY fancy, you can try Victoria and Alberts.

Narcoossee's is another option, as is Citrico's, or maybe even see about private dining at the GF...

go here to check out menu's and stuff (subject to change):

You might also consider a Wishes cruise...

Good luck planning your fairy tale wedding!!!

congratulations on your plans & welcome to the dis.

you could also take the monorail over to the polynesian & have your dinner at ohana's they have long tables & a family style hawaiian buffet at your table. or you could take the monorail over to the contemporary, california grill is real nice & has a great view of magic kingdom. i also like the wilderness lodge's artist point more formal forest views, great food & the whispering canyon cafe lively casual western themed restaurant. you can reach the wilderness lodge by boat from the grand floridian dock.

you can view pictures & menu's of these restaurants and others at allearsnet.com

thank you all for your help.

I havent heard of the dessert party or the Wishes cruise. I would love to hear more about them. Do they cater for 20 guests?

Thanks
Jen
