Hi!! I'm New Here

Hi someone told me about this group, and I want to say it looks like a great place, full of information and great people.

My DH, DD and I will be going to Disney in January and I can't wait. DD and I have been before, but it will be DH's first time.

My plan is to stay at the Caribbean Beach, but that isn't set in stone as of yet...any suggestions?

Hi and enjoy yourself on the boards. January is a nice time usually good weather. Never stayed at the CB but many people enjoy it.

Since you are considering a stay at CBR, are you aware that they now have the Trinidad section rooms refurbished as ships with a pirate theme?
In the meantime, plan well, do your ADRs to get the restaurants that you want, and just relax and have fun. You're going to Disney!

January really isn't that far away. I would go ahead and make reservations as soon as possible, so you can get the resort of your choice. Also, depending on when you are going in January, it's likely that your 180 day ADR (advance dining reservations) window is already open.

Thanks for the nice welcome everyone.

The reservation is being held for me till Thursday (7 days from when I called) I would have already made them, but when I called in May, Disney told me they would have no rates for January till August...so I waited.

I saw somewhere on this board, (I think) about specials being realeased on 8/14 so I want to wait till the last moment to confirm the reservation they are holding.

I've been to Disney 5 times, but DH has never been. I can't wait for him to see it all.

We are checking in late on 1/5 and staying till 1/13.
