Hi All!
I'm new here, just wanted to ask a few questions that'll tie up all of my loose ends.

My sister and I will be staying at the Contemporary MK view from 6/22-6/28 :woohoo: -What are the odds of an upgrade to Concierge? Not that I need concierge level, but just wanted to see if there was a chance.
-Regarding the Contemporary computers that are in the room, will I be able to check GMail and AOL?
-I noticed the time we are going is going to be some sort of Star Wars convention. What should I expect because of this convention?
-We're not on a dining plan (didn't think it was worth it) and we have dining reservations at Coral Reef, California Grill, Grand Floridian Lounge afternoon Tea, and Wolf Gang downstairs. We do have a few others that we're tentatively thinking about. What are the odds of getting into Jiko/Boma, and other places without reservations? I don't mind waiting for a table.
-I've given the Disney vacation planner my flight numbers, is this the only thing I need to do to make reservations for Magical Express?

I think that's all of my questions. I look forward to any advice and tips that anyone can provide.
I'm so excited for this trip I can't wait for it to get here! We haven't been to Disney since we were little, so this is our first time planning this on our own. I'm definitely going to contribute to the food porn threads when I get back.

Thanks all!

I can't help you with the Contemporary question. Hopefully someone else can or you might want to post it on our Resorts Board: http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12

Star Wars Weekends takes place at Disney Hollywood Studios. You can see some information about it here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/mgm/events/st-starwars-weekend.htm . My personal advice is that unless you are a Star Wars fan, I would avoid DHS for that weekend--make sure you see it on a day other than Sat and Sun. It will be crazy busy! But if you like Star Wars, by all means check it out. There are tons of extra activities and Star Wars fans!

It is always best to make an ADR for the sit down restaurants if you want to get in, but you can take your chances. You can always at least call that day and see if there is availability. You might ask this on the Disney Dining Board. They will know better how difficult it might be to get in. http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14

As long as you have given them your Flight Information and told them you need ME you are all set. You will get a packet with information from them about 2 weeks or so before your trip. It will have the vouchers you need and the luggage tags to put on your luggage so it will get to your hotel.

Check out all the different forums here, like our Tips and Restaurants and
theme Parks board. They are stuffed full of great information!

Have a great trip!!!pixiedust:

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'll definitely be missing the Star Wars at DHS, that park is on our itinerary for Thursday. PHEW! Not that there's anything wrong with Star Wars, I just don't enjoy it.

I'll repost my questions in other parts of the message board. Thanks for the links!

Have a nice day :thumbsup2
