I am lost.

i realllllly want a dress but VMK is full of snoby ppl who won't help!
nanoer said disboards is full of super nice people and i agree with from what i've seen.

Hi,

Okay, first, disboards.com IS filled with lots of nice people. Many will help you learn the game, understand value of items, and help you along the way. There are also lots of great tips and tricks here that can help you through the game.

Second, sometimes people WILL decide to just gift you something, but not usually if you just pop up and say something along the lines of, "Please give me ___________. I really want it." That's just not the way it works - and it actually really turns people off. A better approach is to try to help yourself, and you just may find (as I did) that others will help you out just because that feel like being nice to a friendly nice fellow player. (Granted, this has not yet helped me to get a fire window, but I have faith! LOL!)

Lastly, please know that this is coming from a player who has been on VMK less than a month - and disboards less than that, but has learned that begging for stuff TRULY will hurt you more than help you.

That said, if you need help learning various parts of the game, let me know. I will help you learn what Ihave been taught by some very kind people here.
