HI Ho! Hi Ho! it's back to WDW I go!! a PTR! *completed*

ohhh had to mention big Twilight fan here too. I finished the last book last week :(

I borrowed them though...I want to work on slowly getting them. Then I can read them the second time through :)

THe movie was...ok. The book was of course better, but you will probably enjoy the movie...I think

Hmmm there's a ringing endorsement :confused3

:rotfl: i know what you mean though, unless you see the film first it's almost never as good as the books (my exception: "Lord of the Rings". Liked the films, hated the books).

i finished New Moon on the drive back from Montreal - i actually finished it about ten minutes before it got dark, so it was perfect timing. i did enjoy it but not as much as the first book. No, i haven't bought the last two books yet, because it's too close to Christmas and they're only available in hardcover so far. i'm too cheap! i put them on my Christmas list and am currently re-reading Twilight (slowly, savouring it). i haven't seen the film yet (though it is playing here, yes) but i am hoping to sometime soon. The only nights i can really go are thursdays or fridays, and i seem to be booked solid :upsidedow i'll get there eventually :goodvibes

I agree, books are almost always better than the films... except for those rare films that are screenplays first...then become books (like Star Wars, for example) I'm FIRMLY a "Team Edward" girl... so New Moon didn't do as much for me either as the other 3 books... not enough Edward:lovestruc

I went into the Movie, assuing that I wouldn't like it as well as the book. I was pleasantly suprised though! It followed the main plot relatively closely and the chemistry between Edward and Bella very realistic. I'll buy it as soon as it is on DVD...I'll watch it over and over too:goodvibes The only 3 movies that we have that are "mine" (DH has hundreds...really) are The Princess Bride, While You Were Sleeping, and North and South Book I and II (a mini series). If I watch a movie, that I get to pick...its ALWAYS one of them.

Wow, your plans look about perfect...especially after I saw you are going to sneak in Illuminations also. How about Wishes? Maybe i missed it...that is one of my personal favorites.

Hmmm I guess I confused the issue when I answered Christine. I'm NOT planning on Illuminations on this trip. DH loves it so we will go in July. Since by brother et al are first timers in November...one way or another, I'll be sure to figure all 3 nitetime shows into our plans. I've seen it lots of times. My Solo trip in October is the first time I ever skipped it. I had intended to see it this time, but since it conflicted with PM EMH at AK... it's getting nixed again.:thumbsup2

Wishes (and Spectro) are on the itinerary for Thursday nite:goodvibes

How did I miss that you had started your pre-trip report already?

I get dragged to Dance competitions so I hear you. The dance studio was talking about the nationals that are held at Disney world in July. I haven't heard anything in a while but of course competition season hasn't started yet and you have to qualify for the nationals first.

I just know that I am sick of fundraising. Anyone want any candles or fudge? I'm at the point that I just say "How much do you need to make from me for this fundraiser?" and just fork over the cash.

Your plans so far are looking really great!! I want to try the CP breakfast sometime because I've read such good reviews, but the early morning doesn't usually fly too well with this family! Guess I'll have to save it for if I ever get to do a solo trip. :goodvibes

I haven't done a THING for our January trip yet. Tonight DH and I figured out a loose schedule, but no ADRs made, we haven't even reserved the ME yet. We've just been SO busy lately. Hopefully we can still get into the few ADRs we are going to make... We are planning on doing the AK evening EMH, I recall you saying it was awesome to ride EE and experience AK at night on your TR. I keep picturing the awesome beauty of AK with the moon shining through the leaves. So pretty. And EE freaks me out already, in the dark it's gonna be nuts! :yay:

I was suprised that there were lots of ADR times available for the 1st week of Feb... everywhere i wanted to go!! Call soon though, just to be safe:goodvibes

Hidey ho neighbor!! glad you made it:thumbsup2

i'll be happy to buy some fudge.... do you want some dip mixes or pizzas???:rotfl:

Paula

Candles, fudge, dip mixes, pizzas? Geez fundraising has gotten creative! In my day it was, i think, chocolate bars, chocolate almonds, or magazine subscriptions, and that's IT.

Come to think of it i *just* bought a magazine subscription from my best friend's daughter... so i guess maybe we still haven't evolved :confused3

Here again, miss a couple days and miss a lot!! I am SO jealous of everyones trip planning!! I would hate to miss Illuminations but I agree, AK at night looks so cool. And :cool1: to early CP ressies. We went for lunch one day and I am not a big breakfast eater but I would do this one day just to get in the park early!

OH, I want to go back so bad. Good thing I found all you Disers to live vicariously through!

Yeah, movies rarely catch the magic that some books have. Twillight, Harry Potter (yes, I'm one of those too lol). I always love seeing charactors come life though.

LOL, Paula and I felt like there was almost too much Edward and Bella. I also had trouble with the actor who played Edward...Bella was pulled off wonderfully, but Edward just wasn't doing it for me. His family was great though LOL! I can't remember the brotherr's name, but the one with Alice...everything I saw him I burst out laughing. :rotfl:

LOL, I did get confused about your plans. So, NO illuminations but you got the others figured in. Totally understandable, and I underrstand now. Spectro and Wishes??? Wow...that will be a busy night ;)

Hello Paula!! I too somehow missed you having a new PTR!! Be still my heart another solo trip..you just might be my hero!!

I'm still getting all excited about mine WOOT!! I too am still doing the ADR Shuffle...finally decided I wanted to do Yatchsman one night instead of Teppan Edo...so changes were made LOL!!!

Anyways I can't wait to hear how you will be getting ready for this trip. I have a bit of a plateau right now but hopefully I'll get back into the planning mood LOL!!!

Hi Paula,

I finally made it over here! Yay for another solo trip! Your plans sound awesome so far. I can't get over the cutback on Fantasmic, etc. :confused3

Can't wait to hear more!!!!!!

Faireprincess (Sare) had won this caption contest over on the photography boards, and asked if she could borrow the "giraffe behind the tree" pic from my TR. So I just had to check it out... and start playing:rolleyes1 It's witty...you're witty, I'm sure you need yet ANOTHER place to lurk on the boards!!

He's the link... Since I was last weeks winner, I got to post the new pic for this week... I used the gorilla with his blankie one. The captions they've come up with already are hilarious!! All you need to do to get in on the game is post a caption to the current photo:goodvibes
