Just thought I would get the introductions out of the way and let you all know some of our plans whether you want to know or not :lmao:

The Cast

Jackie (36) Disney addict and chief organiser - Could sit in Disney all day watching the world go by if the kids would let me:)

Brian -DH (39) Shares my love of Disney and works very hard all year to fund our obsession  - Doesn't do rollercoasters and not fond of flying but loves BTM.

Molly -DD (7) Collects pins and cuddlies. Always has a soft toy under her arm. Loves Star Tours and Phantom Manor

Lewis- DS (5) The whirlwind of the family. Loves Pirates and BTM - cant wait to go on Crush

Granny - Kids love their Granny to come with us and we have a built in babysitter:rolleyes1

Granda - Great for taking the kids swimming and he comes on the coasters with me

Auntie Rosie - Rosie is my Auntie and has never been abroad before. She stayed with my Granda and nursed him though a tough battle which he lost in May. I do have an inkling she will be another Disney convert if being on holiday with my kids for 7 days doesnt put her off:rotfl2:

We are flying from Aberdeen on Sunday 8th and returning on Sunday 15th.Using RS Transport and are staying at the Explorers . We have Dream passes to take advantage of EMH

We have been to DLP many times before but with the help of these boards I still have soooo much I want to do. Top of the list will be Crush Coaster although I am a bit wary of letting the kids go on  I am so looking forward to seeing Toon Studios and the new Cars ride. Molly has refused point blank to go on POTC but has decided that she will go on this time so I can finally get my group photos. It is going to cost me though - two pins (watch out for her on the apprentice in years to come:lmao: ).

Eating - We love RFC so will eat there. We are going to try Lucky Nugget Saloon on DIS recommendations. The kids favourite is Cafe Mickey but we are undecided as we had really bad service last time:eek: .

I am determined to try some different counter service places as we always seem to end up in the same ones and I think there must be some hidden gems out there.

We may also go into Paris this time but will leave that decision until we get there.

I am also going to take lots of sneeky photos for my quiz in October :lmao:

We may also have a wee Dis meet at the end of our week with Reid (Cyrano) and his troops if we can find each other in the Bastille weekend crowds or run when he sees us all in our lime green t shirts and matching socks:rotfl: :rotfl:

Well thats it for now - better get on with the packing :sad2:

Nice start Jackie. Think I'll have to give a thought to this pre-trip report also ;)

You sound really excited:cool1:

I hope you have a really good holiday.

Counter service is nice in Colonel Haiti and it's also a little haven of quiteness compared to some of the others. It has some different things like a pasta meal deal for children.

I also like the Cowboy cookout but it's best not to go just after a Tarzan show as it get's really busy then. They sometimes have a band playing inside and lots of characters come and go outside.

Sounds like you have a great trip planned - and 7 days too you lucky thing!
We arrive on the 17th so I will look forward to reading your trippies once we get back!

sounds like youve got a great trip planned...

cant wait to read your trip report especially explorer review:surfweb:

enjoy the build up :goodvibes

Lucky you- I want to go back now...... can heartily recommend Pizzeria Belle Notte -it's kind of tucked away and lots of character meets around and about, so if you sit outside the kids can run over quickly if they see them.
